Also, I'm not sure why, but this passage was SCORCHING HOT in my opinion:
He starts slowly, going back to the superficial deductions he made yesterday, gently running the blade over their thin skin. Then he carefully slices under the fat, deconstructing the façade that people think covers the things they don’t want to show the world. Finally the blade slices deep into muscle, pulling those things that people won’t even admit to themselves out into the open.
