Go for it...This is a once in a lifetime opportunity. Plus it fully paid for and not from your pocket and you will come back with a lot of extra money in your pocket and im sure you could use it...any college student/person could...hell I would. Maybe you can get a few classes online during that time...might want to look into that.

The only issue is that I am afraid of propagation. This could turn into more and more delays to the point that one day I am going to say "f*ck it, i dont need school" only to regret it down the road. I dont really want to throw away what I have been working on. I am thinking this could be the beginning of a lot of reasons to delay school. my "gateway drug"...

Then I would say get some online classes and do it while you gone then you are doing both. They really don't take much of your time. I did a whole quarter online my senior year.

that's so awesome....

but by reading your comments it sounds to me like your gut is telling you that it's just not the right time to take such a huge break in your schooling. Yeah, it's an awesome opportunity, one that will never come again, but you can think of school as the same type of opportunity. I know too many people that got sidetracked and never got back.....or had to try it again far down the line with a family under their belt...which makes any type of schooling 100 times harder by default.

I'd stay in school and get it taken care of. Don't let the dollar signs cloud your thoghts.
