I have returned! It was wonderful and peaceful and quiet at Grandma's, but it was time to go, and I'm back at home, which, thus far, has also been peaceful, quiet, and wonderful. I ended up not getting the third book of Twelve Kingdoms yet and am going through serious withdrawal. And I feel as if I must get it in order to ensure that at least the fourth book gets translated and lets me read more about Yoko.

I'm waiting for my library to get the second one in so I can continue my marvelous journey. ^_^ And. . .then, I'm probably ordering book three, too. I really want to read about the Ever-King's early days as emperor, but. . .not as much as I want to learn what happens to Yoko next. Next year, here's hoping! I was surprised how much I sheerly adored her as a character. She had to go through and learn so very much, and you could tangibly see how much she changed and how much emotional pain she was in, and it was all done very, very well. I really, really want her to succeed and to be a great ruler. ^^
