Thank you, Peter S. Beagle's e-mail newsletter, for introducing me to stuffonmycat.com. It is incredibly amusing.

Because I can't resist...I recommend Lattimore for the Iliad but Fitzgerald for the Odyssey. Lattimore's heavy verse really fits the war scenes in the Iliad while Fitzgerald's more poetic feel is nice for the Odyssey. But the Lattimore Odyssey is really good too...

You should see Bolt. It's amazingly well done, and I really wasn't expecting it to be.

For a crappy movie, it sure did have a lot of good moments...just neglected to string them together properly in the second half...sigh!

And for the life of me, that man will always be "Reverend" Stryker in my mind...silly first impressions...

And P.S.? Robot in a trenchcoat and fedora can be nothing but awesome!

:P I know you're on the opposite side of that fence, but actually, you would really, really like it.

Yes, but it shows a lack of creativity to steal so directly! Your tildes are lonely!

Actually, you'd really love Giant Robo as well. It's absolutely your type of thing. I'm only two episodes in, but so far, it's completely awesome.
