On Clouds of Witness. . .follow your whimsy. ;p

Though if you buy just one of them, it should be Gaudy Night, which by far and away the best of all of them. [/unbiased facts]

I will put in a word for Murder Must Advertise as well, which aside from Gaudy Night is absolutely my favorite. Three-quarters of the plot is full of sane, clever, quippy people at an advertising agency, and then the other quarter of the plot is COMPLETE MELODRAMATIC CRACK involving Peter running around disguised as a Harlequin and diving off thirty-foot fountains!

:P I'll probably not buy any more for a while, actually, and just get them from my library for the time being. I'm trying to stop buying books for a while until I catch up with myself, as I literally have dozens of tiny stacks covering my room. Granted, I'm getting a new shelf and I don't quite have enough to fill it. . . . .

I'm exceedingly curious about the TV show, actually, and I intend to rent it when I get a few books further into the series.
