That is entirely why it is now the mascot of my livejournal. ^_^ It's adorable!

The second would certainly be less gruesome. Another possibility is a mixture of snow and the wolf's shadow creating the illusion of their being something there, but that would not explain why the wolf is bent over. My dog tends to randomly eat snow, so who knows?

I'm going to go ahead and say that is is the third one, at least as far as I can tell. As for why it's down there, only the wolf knows.
