A lot of attention is being payed to the Miers nomination, and we hear shouts of cronyism and see attention being payed to the qualifications (or lack thereof) of Miers. Do you trust him to actually point someone of Greenspan's caliber, considering how critical Greenspan has been of tax cuts without offsetting spending cuts? I don't.

Off-topic, but I have a theory that James Dobson is only supporting Miers so that liberals will get cold feet and vote her down. He's said a lot of things that can be taken as code for "She'll vote to overturn Roe" and I don't think he's doing it for his friendship with Bush.
