Haru wandered around the festival, not quite sure of where anyone was. All of the bright summer lights lit up around her made her feel slightly dizzy, it didn't help that her obi was tied too tightly and she couldn't breath properly. Her vision started to turn very fuzzy and she suddenly felt very light headed, the last thing she saw before she fell to the ground was a figure with grey hair tied up. When she came to she saw Gokudera sitting on a grassy slope, smoking and admiring the fire works that were going off at the time. She looked down and saw that her obi had been removed and her yukata had been opened.

"AH! YOU! What did you do?" Haru screamed pointing at Gokudera.

"What's wrong with you! I save you from falling on the ground and I bring you up here to get away from the crowds and you start accusing me of doing things!" Gokudera shouted back, It's all to get in the good books of the tenth He reminded himself.

"What...?" Haru said, she was feeling bad for suddenly shouting at him after he'd done something like that, "But why"

"Hmm?" Gokudera said with his cigarette still in his mouth sounding completely disinterested, "Well... You're one of the Tenth's best friends... I wouldn't be able to call my self his right hand man if I let something happen to you," The way Gokudera spoke, it was as if he hadn't really thought about the reason behind his actions until that point.

"Uhh.... Thanks..." Haru was lost for words, she had never really realized that, the underneath Gokudera's outer shell there was actually a nice person beneath it.

A rather long awkward silence followed. It was obvious that Gokudera was not going to do anything to change this and Haru couldn't stand to be in silence like she was, so she attempted small talk, "So uhh... why'd you come to the festival...?"

"Ehhhhhh?" He replied with out turning around to look her in the eye, "I received information that the tenth might be coming to the festival would be coming, so I'd been making sure there weren't any rival family's going to do anything drastic,"

"You really take this mafia game to the extremes don't you?"

"Of course! I have to if I want to be the tenth's right hand man!" He said starting to get fired up.

"So then do you really think I've got what it takes to be "the tenth's" wife?" She asked mockingly.

"A don's wife should be able look after him when he's not well, Defend him, cook for him, and provide a suitable heir for the family, and love him... Do you think you could do that?" He said getting serious all of a sudden.

"Sounds like you're more suited for that role than I am,” She said under her breath.

"Huh?"

"Oh nothing. Of course I could!"

"Then you can be wife candidate number 1, you'll need to be properly trained in the techniques of a don's wife. But that can be organised at a later time,"

"You're taking this a little too seriously don't yo-"

"No! If you seriously plan on being the tenth's wife then your training must start as soon as possible!"

"Wait! Don't do anything thing like that," She snatched Gokudera's cell phone out of his hand which he was about to use to call for someone to train Haru, "Look... I don't want Tsuna to pick me based on who I would become after those lessons... I want him tp pick me for who I am now. If he doesn't pick me then i can accept that... But I don't want him to pick me for being something that I'm not."

Gokudera looked at Haru in an astounded way, he was completely in awe, then his astounded face turned into a cunning grin, "That was the prefect reaction,"

"Huh?"

"Nothing... Don't worry about it," Still grinning, "For now... Let's just enjoy the fire works."
