Today I saw a headline about Martha Stewart's stay in prison and subsequent house arrest (or whatever it is called). Apparently it's horrible. Still though she seems to be doing ok because in the fall she will have her own version of "the apprentice" on tv. Ryan, I didn't think it'd come to this. But I do have to say..."We are trying to come up with other ways to say it," she says. "For instance, if someone is from Idaho, I could say, `You're back in Boise for apple-picking time.'" was quite the punchline; perhaps the first in your stories that instigated a laugh from me. so bravo...I believe you are officially straying from your mundane-story-telling manner to one that is humorous. The ankle-bracelet & etc...it only proves you've too much time on your hands. But funny thing you might enjoy; in Physics class "last" year, my teacher was talking about a fantastic new reality show he would want to see: all the prison inmates in death row in a surivor-type situation, with only 1 weapon, nothing else; the last one that lives w/out being killed by the other murderers gets to be set free on probation. This way, the gov't saves money, those on deathrow actually get killed instead of wait 50 years, and the public gets entertainment. brutal, eh?
