Its more often then not, that Ive felt out of the loop, or just sat on the side-lines as other things happen. It can be quite uncomforting, especially when you know theres stuff going on, but your not really there for it.
Unfortunately, alot of the time, you will have to be the one that makes the first contact when trying to find out about stuff, as even friends dont always talk about everything, unless you ask them.
Hell, Ive had to do it a few times, it doesnt always work, as I discovered about a month ago, but most of the time, especially when it more to do with a group rather then just a few people, you will get them chatting to you for a while.
hey kazz, and ohh beccys not having a shoot, its just me and my friend but yea the time is great, ill be either gohan or toma, and my mate will be doing allen walker, so that 2 seperate shoots if thats ok hun !
but it just seems that now i dont really make costumes anymore, im just out of the group One part of me wants to say that's not true, but another part of me has to kinda agree - I find myself in similar situations too (not necessarily with the same group you're on about). It is very easy to get wrapped up in one's own life, and quite often friends get ... erm... 'ignored' is not the word I want to use but I can't think of another one right now. It's the old saying "out of sight, out of mind", although that isn't strictly true because I'm sure you are thought of - we have certainly missed you at occasions - but I realise that doesn't help you unless we tell you! Otherwise, how do you know?!

So in summary: just because people don't contact you, doesn't mean you're not thought about.
Note to self: remind yourself about that when you are feeling like Reiss is now.
thanks matt, and leena, i do feel a bit better now, just sometimes i see all the happanings on and stuff, but likejust seems like some one else has kinda replaced me
It may be people don't want you to feel bad about not being able to afford to come out and play.
I try to do shout outs on LJ and Facebook for things going on, and so forth. However, I try to be careful about how much I shout as there's all the event and Expo stuff I fling around and the last thing I want to happen is for it all to get lumped together and end up being thought of as a spammer ^_^;
