I'm thinking about doing a follow-up piece for Struck (my Whose-A-Thon fic where Ryan is a doctor), and I've been wondering what job to give Colin. Then I figured I should ask what you'd like to see. So...

Since I haven't read the first I really have no business having an opinion at all but I'm commenting because, well, I think it depends what the fic is like, tone-wise. Romance? Humor? Drama? I picked chef thinking of humor but teacher thinking of other. I mean I'm sure it would be lovely no matter what, just, that's what was going on in my head. :P

No, I really do appreciate all opinions. ^_^ Well, the first was drama, with humor and a hint of romance thrown in. But it'll mainly be humor and romance going forwards, I think. So, yeah, that's probably not much help whatsoever. :P

You should have said the fic was so short! Great and easy read, especially for someone like me who loves WLIIA but has never read RyCo fic. I think Colin should be a shoemaker. ;-) Then he can make great big specialty shoes for Ryan.

I'm extremely helpful and voted for 3 different things. (not helpful at all)
I'm laughing at the shoemaker above. He could be some sort of recluse fashion designer. :-P

Anyway, my first thought was chef or writer even before I got here to see the poll options. But I can see teacher too.

Oh, I loved this story a lot of you are shy to ask you to make him the longest story, such as (when fate intervenes)

I chose a teacher it's kind of an exciting story to be a gay teacher relationship .. that kind of difficult to be frank sexual identity ... I know so many ... There are a lot of gay teachers are exposed to losing their jobs because of their sexual orientation

But if you are planning to lower the complexity of the story and a little more fluff and nice I think (writer) writes about love, despite his failure in love in
His own life

Perhaps reading the Ryan him some stories and trying to convert them to the reality in order to receive love Colin I do not know really, but something like this :)

Thank you for your thoughtful input! I'm so glad you liked the story. I did, too, which is why I wanted to continue. ^_^ And, believe me, I welcome feedback for all of my stories, and especially enthusiasm - that really pushes and encourages me to keep writing. :)

I'm not sure how long this one will run tbh (I never am), but I'm certainly open to it running a longer course if my muse allows. Thanks for the support!

I was going to pick chef, but something about Colin as a barista is too adorable. I see Teacher is winning. If he's a high school teacher, he could totally be a barista over the summer for extra money. This story would probably take place in Cananda, and I don't know how teacher's salaries work in Canada, but in the U.S. they're notoriously horrible, and teacher's sometimes get second jobs when they're not teaching.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're not that well paid in Canada either (my sister and brother-in-law are teachers there). Thanks for the input. ^_^
