YEAH. Most actors are both. If you don't have a contract with a group of people, you can get a contract with another group of people. SAG isn't the only actors union in town. This stuff has happened before. Look at NABET and IATSE.

I know increasing scale for the production unions (like the teamsters) has resulted in a lot of outsourcing for production, meaning fewer jobs in the states.
