For real! Very little could be sweeter than the little piece of Elysium that is our neighborhood. I really couldn't imagine anywhere else I'd rather live... Except maybe on an island. Hmmmm...

Ah...Multonomah county...where we voted something like 72% for Kerry to kick Bush out, yet passed measure 36. So close, yet SOOOO far. I think our hearts and heads need to align a bit more...

Well, Multnomah County didn't vote for 36, it was just a good portion of the rest of the state that fucked us over on that one :(

Multnomah County / Oregon as a whole:
Kerry: 71.57% / 51.35%
No on 36: 59.74% / 43.36%
Yes on 33: 53.55% / 42.78%

These are the three things that I'm aware of where Multnomah County was most different than the state as a whole...

The state & world would be a much better place if a little bit more of it were similar to what we've got in our back yard...
