Out of everyone who cares to comment on this LJ, I wonder how many people were actually satisfied by the university(ies) they attended. Please tell me

I'm applying to "not the best" uni, and quite frankly it doesn't bother me. Everybody has been on my case, telling me to go to the University of Queensland, because you know it's a sandstone uni and blah blah. I went to the open day there and it disappointed me severely.
The SunnyCoast Uni on the other hand, is only like 15 years old, it's growing rapidly, its ratings are climbing and the environment is so much better. At UQ you're a number, but because of the smaller classes at SunnyCoast you actually get one-on-one time with your tutors.
It might be different once I'm there full time, but I doubt it. The handful of other universities in the state don't catch any interest either.
I wish I had gone to a different school. Not because USC wasn't great but because I didn't know before choosing schools what exactly I was looking for. I thought I got a great education from USC. I really LOVED a lot of my classes. But it wasn't worth the price tag, but unless a school can guarantee you a 6 figure job when you graduate, no school is worth a hundred thousand dollars

All of the well known SC schools seem pretty great, I always think how it'd be cool to go to one if I was willing to do the bi-coastal thing. When I still thought I'd be doing music, I really liked the idea of Berkeley, since it has a really awesome music community. A ton of well known a capella groups from there are on TV and on YouTube and stuff. It has a nice vibe, whereas URI's music community was depressing and catty.
I definitely agree with that price tag comment, especially since most of those 6 figure jobs are ones that you have to go to additional school for anyway, so it hardly even matters where you undergrad as long as you do well.
