Although I am sure that everyone that reads my blog is not close minded I had to post this. The HPV vaccine that protects young girls from possibly contracting a strain of HPV that will cause them cervical cancer 20 or 30 years later in life is not ANTI CHRISTIAN!!! It is not going to encourage girls to run out and have sex without worrying about

You are so right! It really pisses me off when people won't teach their kids about sex-HELLO! WE ALL ARE GOING TO HAVE SEX SOMEDAY! At least clue your kid in on the dangers of having sex without protection. Not that I am promoting kids to having sex, but really-like receiving a vaccine is going to make them say, hey, I can go out and have sex now! It is so sad that some people actually believe that scaring your child about sex is going to prevent them from having it. When they are ready they are ready, regardless of what you tell them about getting pregnant or catching a disease. All kids think that could happen to anyone else but them. The better thing to do is to be open with your kids, let them know you can come to them BEFORE you are thinking about having sex, and take them to get on birth control and teach them about the risks of having unprotected sex. Otherwise they will try to sneak around about it, and that's when kids get into trouble. OH yeah, and if Christians really wanted to prevent teen abortions, they wouldn't
