Just Another Day On The Fire Line

I have a Nephew who is a Fire Fighter. We don't realize the danger they face, on a regular routine. Yes, we realize that Military and Law Enforcement live within that, daily... but do we think about some of the other jobs?

Here is a bit from his recent email:

You're probably right. Mining is way up there too and construction work is far more dangerous than most people realise.

But firefighters do a great job, both in terms of dealing with fire and rescuing people from burning buildings. Having said that, in the UK they probably save more lives extricating people from crashed cars, but whatever the situation, they are brilliant at what they do.

I have a friend who is a firefighter. He (and his family, who also deal) have my greatest admiration.
