Ryn and George's Apartment: 2nd Floor

Ryn sat crosslegged on the couch looking over a crossword puzzle, her pen tapping slowly against her teeth, a frown of concentration that at times gave way to a smile when she understood a clue. "George, what's a five letter word for reptile?" She called as she started to tap against her teeth again.

"Uh... snake? Toad? I have no idea," George grinned up from her spot on the floor where she was curled up on a sheep skin map, "That is why I do sudoku, numbers are easy. Er."

Ryn tilted her head to the side, "Viper" She said with a grin. "Thank you baby." She said as she laid the paper down. "I hate those damn things." She said sliding down to the floor to curl up next to George. "Sugar's home for a while." She said as she stroked George's hair.

George tilted her head to the side, enjoying the fingers dragging through her hair.

"What are you trying to say Ryn?" she asked, marking down a three then a five, "That you'll be busy with your little dearheart?"

Ryn raised an eyebrow at George's words. "I was just telling you so that if you see her around the building you don't get upset because I didn't tell you." Ryn said brushing her lips to the back of George's neck. "And you haven't been available much yourself to be honest." She said, her tone not changing. She kept it very light and free of accusations.
