Well, that explains Nero all right. I love their moment of peace at "the end". Excellent job building Nero into a 3-dimensional character.

Well, a great deal of this part (including Nero's characterization) comes from the movie's comic book prequel, Countdown. Once I read that, I was always disappointed that more of it didn't make it into the movie itself, because it explains so much.
