I found you (and Sumi) here, but I have no issues with following you wherever you're going. I have found myself using LJ less and less and sadly, that's just how it is. I read far more than I type in almost all my social media bits except Twitter.

Yeah, that's a large part of my attachment to LJ. I have a bunch of people on my FB page that I don't know yet and probably will never be able to get to know as well as I know my LJ friends, simply because it's not as personal. On my end though, I only use LJ for cosplay plans and con reports, which I can easily do elsewhere. I'll still be around to read everyone's posts though because I don't want to give that up.

Yeah, I know how you feel. LJ used to be great to get to know people. Like, really get to know them. FB/twitter/tumblr are fun, because it's not really the same kind of interaction. I miss those old times, but maybe we're all just growing out of that sort of thing. :C

I'm not on most of those, but I do have FB, so I added you there. Don't know when I'll make myself a costume again, but I love seeing my friend's ongoing efforts!
