Even knowing this is probably Oldest Nephew's last Thanksgiving, it's been very nice. I made 'The Next Best Thing To' this morning, then went over there about noon, and had a light bit with them while watching Escape to Madagascar. Sounds like a lovely day. Having friends and family can be almost unbearably painful at times, but there'd be no best of times without them.
