Thanks to the generous budget of the UChicago Quiz Bowl Team, there was a tournament in Pittsburgh this weekend. Basically, they had a couple grand left in their budget and the regular season was done, so they put out the word that they were looking for someone to host a tournament and give them an excuse to blow the cash. Well, at least you didn't make out with a married woman and then spend the rest of the night vomiting. That surely would have left you in even worse shape.

Yeah, watching that unfold between the two of them was kinda weird before we all realized she was married and then it was fairly awkward for the rest of the time we were there. Still, what's the use of drinking with the young if not to revisit vicariously those times when you yourself made more or less the same horrible decisions? I can only hope that Seth's able to handle vodka again in the future; I don't know that I've had more than a shot of tequila since my equivalent adventure.
