Until I realized that the x-axis was frequency (and not l), I was confused by the lack of wiggles. But I am not giving my PhD back.

But the formula's right there in the panel. At the very least, you should spend the day referring to yourself as "Mr. Wilhite".

I'm an observer (& heathen), so I tend to look at the pictures (& cursing). "Bitches" really draws the eye, so I didn't look at the equation right away.

Plus, we're not all cosmologists. I may have also been trying to turn that into a C IV line in my mind.
