Were you close at all to your great grandmother? Personally, I think it's okay not to be upset/care is your aren't close to a relative. I'm sure if you were you would be.
When I die I just want people to say "aww, that's too bad," and be disheartened for a day, but that's it. I want to feel like I made an impact, or left a good impression on people, but I really don't want anybody to get too upset by it. A few shed tears would be alright, tho.
I dont understand the whole shedding of tears. You really are getting the longer end of the stick here. Oh pooh you, you lose your temporal body and get to enjoy bliss... forever. Yippee for you. Now I have to manage to go on without you here. Fuck it... you're getting a howler from me in heaven.

a lot of people have been guilt triping me. it seems like you and john are the ones that get it. Its been like 'oh my grandma died.' 'oh my god lauren I am so sorry.' 'I dont care, she was old' 'oh then why are you upset.' 'because I had to talk to my dad about it.'
Everyone is treating me weird because I have a bigger problem with talking to the living than giving a damn about the past.
