Summary: when Ueda's obsession with Gackt gets in his brain, and making Ryo wonder what in the world is wrong with Ueda
In this chapter Ryo asks Jin what's wrong with Ueda
Ueda looked at him in surprise and thought to himself. Why do I feel something’s not right? But he accepted his gift anyways. Upon giving Ueda his gift, he motioned to the drum set nearby and said.
“Want to try it?”
“Sure.” Ueda happily replied.
Back at Ryo and the others.
“Can someone tell me WHAT’S GOING ON?!” yelled Ryo as he sat himself on the couch they used for the photo shoot. But no one answered him, instead he heard muffled laughs from kanjnai8 and from KAT-T_N. Ryo crossed his arms and glared at them. I’LL FIND OUT WHAT WRONG WITH THAT HIME… THEN I’LL KILL ALL OF YOU!
Their managers came back and informed them that their activities for the day are over. So they head back to the resting area, before reaching the room, an unfamiliar sound echo’s down the hallway. It’s not scary, but a very melodic sound of drums and guitar.
“You think Tacchon’s practicing?” asked Yasu as they go near the room.
“Most probably, but who’s on the guitar?” says Baru as they slowly open the door to the room and saw
Ohkura with his eyes closed while playing the drums, and Ueda also with his eyes closed strumming his new guitar, both of them didn’t notice they have an audience. Ryo
When their "medley" ended, applause was given to Ueda and Ohkura from their friends except for Ryo who just stared at the drummer and the guitarist in annoyance. What’s the point in all this? Do they need to show off or something?! His thoughts were cut short he felt someone pushed him lightly.
“What the~”
“What’s up with you?” asked Baru who looked at him questioningly while the other went up to Ohkura and Ueda.
“What do you mean?” Ryo asked as he looked at the two then back at Baru.
“You’ve been pissed at Ueda since~ wait let me rephrase that. You’re more pissed at him ever since the day that he kissed you and~”
“Who wouldn’t be?!” Ryo cut in. “That damn hime is acting really weird! Not only did he kiss the sexy Osaka man, he’s been really REALLY HAPPY AND SMILING GIGGLING and all that stuff when he’s with Tadayoshi! AND I DON’T LIKE IT!” Baru could only laugh at his friend seeing that he’s getting somewhat Jealous of Ohkura getting Ueda’s attention.
“What’s so funny?”
“Nothing.” Baru replied with a muffled giggle but failed miserably.
“You know something don’t you? You do know something about that HIME’S weird behavior? Huh?” Baru didn’t reply instead he just patted Ryo’s shoulder then went to where the others are.
IF YOU CAN’T TELL ME, I’LL HAVE TO ASK OHKURA OR ANYONE ELSE MYSELF.
When Ryo decided to go near the Ohkura and Ueda, Ueda is already on his way out with his new guitar. He was about to say something, but words just can’t seem to get out of his mouth, instead he gaped like idiot and watched Ueda go out of the room. The rest of K8 laugh at Ryo expression while preparing their stuff to leave as well. Ryo ignored his band mates and went near Jin and pulled him away from Kame who as startled by sudden disappearance of the arm around his waist. “Ryo, this better be good.” Says Jin as he mouthed I’ll-be-back-in-moment to Kame who just nodded in reply.
“So tell me, what’s wrong with that Hime?”
“Nothing’s wrong with Uebo. He’s perfectly normal.”
“You call that NORMAL?”
“Yeah! He’s just happy that all.”
“’He just happy’ yeah right. If he’s happy then why is he hanging out with Tadayoshi instead of you guys.”
Ryo mumbled in a low voice trying to be inaudible in Jin’s hearing. Though Ryo did manage to keep his voice low, Jin could clearly understand what he said and realized jealousy rising in Ryo’s manner of speaking. So he looked at Ryo and grinned like a baka that he is, then said.
“So Ryo-Chan is jealous because Uebo hangs out with Ohkura - kun and Uebo is starting to ignore you and your insults and begins to divert to Ohkura - kun…. Right???”
Ryo was surprised at what Jin said. He couldn’t say he was right, because he himself doesn’t know if that was the case. Then suddenly, Ueda came back and called Kame.
“Kame-Chan?”
“Hai?”
“Could you go to my house and feed my dogs tonight?”
“Why?” asked Kame as he went closer to Ueda and saw Ryo looked at Ueda eagerly waiting for his answer.
“I won’t be going home tonight.”
“Huh?”
Then Yasu cut in “Oh that’s right, you’ll be coming with us to Osaka right?”
“Eh?” Was all that Ryo could say and Kame just smiled then replied.
“Oh, I remember. HE’LL be performing there would he?”
Ueda nodded and smiled in reply then added. “Oh and Kame, just don’t forget to clean up okay?”
Kame blushed at his friend’s reply knowing what he meant. Then Ueda turned his attention to K8 and said.
“I’ll be waiting in the lobby.” And off he went. When he was no where insight, he left Jin who immediately went to hug Kame, and went straight to his group for an explanation.
“That HIME’s coming to OSAKA? WITH US?!”
