Ryoda Jealousy

Summary: Ueda is jealous because Ryo and Uchi were always together, and finally he said something. Ryo is angry at Ueda, and pretending to be with Uchi to "proff that Ueda is right" While Ueda goes to Maru and does the same. (I suck at summarizing><)

It had already been a whole week since Ueda and Ryo spoke to each other. The two would ignore each other as if they don’t even know the other existed. In the pass week, Ryo acted like a beast around everyone. He would send out this “talk to me and I’ll stab you ten thousand times and throw you off a cliff” glare wherever he goes. He would shout and acted like he will eat you alive to random people who didn’t even do anything. While on the other side, Ueda completely shut himself out from the world. He would helplessly cry in the corner, while trying not to e heard every time he had the chance to. (Between, before and after his photo shoots and interviews and stuff)
All the KAT-TUN and NewS members had been extremely worried about the troublesome couple, and at the same time, didn’t know what to do. Finally, Maru decided to talk to Ueda.
Maru soundlessly opened the door of KAT-TUN’s dressing room. Maru’s heart bleed when he found a crying Ueda curled into a ball on the ground near the corner. He walked slowly towards Ueda, and sat beside him.
“Tatsu?” Maru worded out his concern after Ueda had finally calmed down a little and stopped crying. Maru reached his hand towards Ueda’s pale face and gently caress away Ueda’s tears. “Tell me what’s wrong, Tatsu.” Maru put his hands on Ueda’s shoulder. “I’ll support you and be with you no matter what happens.” Maru grinned at Ueda, giving support and trust. Ueda was thankful for Maru’s action, and got emotional again and sobbed in Maru’s arms.
“Are you feeling better now?” Maru asked gently as he caressed Ueda’s back slowly. Ueda nodded with his head fully buried in Maru’s chest. Ueda lift his head back up and set his eyes at Maru’s. “Thanks Maru, I needed that.” Finally, Ueda smiled the first time in a whole week. Ueda pulled himself into Maru again for a friendly hug, and Maru’s hands wrapped around Ueda, answering his hug. This hug lasted like forever, and neither of the two wanted to break, because it felted so comforting and calm.
Meanwhile, on the other side…
Uchi was the only one in NewS that wasn’t afraid of Ryo. He had been thinking of ways to get Ryo to apologize to Ueda, but failed miserably. After a long and frustrating day of work, Uchi packed his stuff quickly and dragged Ryo as well. “Let’s go out and eat!” Uchi suggested. Ryo was going to protest, but was cut off before he could even make a sound. “You can’t say no either, because I’ve already planned where we should go and stuff.” Ryo didn’t have much strength to argue his way out, so he followed Uchi out the door and down the corridor. Ryo was too tired to notice the triumph on Uchi’s face.
Uchi’s plan went smooth so far.
1. Get Ryo to “eat” with him
2. “Accidentally” drag Ryo down to KAT-TUN’s corridor
3. “Accidentally” get Ryo to look at the crying Ueda
4. Push Ryo in the KAT-TUN dressing room and lock him and Ueda alone in the room.
5. Ryo will be softened after he sees Ueda cry so helplessly, and apologize.
“I am SO SO smart.” Uchi grinned as he formed the compliment in his mind.
“Why are you grinning? You look like an idiot.” Ryo cocked one of his eyebrows up and said. “N-Nothing.” Uchi replied as innocent as he can, trying not to get Ryo suspicious.
Slowly, the two walked down KAT-TUN’s corridor. With Ryo too tired to notice anything, Uchi checked off another step of his “plan” mentally.
Uchi slowly stopped in front of KAT-TUN’s door, and peaked into the room, trying to find the crying Ueda. Once he glanced into the room, his jaw dropped and his eyes were wide. This wasn’t what he had planned. Ueda and Maru were peacefully sleeping in each other’s hug, hands wrapped around each other. “Oh no.” Uchi’s mind yelled. “I’d better get Ryo out of here before he sees.” As Uchi was hoping that Ryo didn’t notice they were in front of KAT-TUN’s dressing room, he turned to Ryo and mentally said, “Oh shit.”
Ryo’s eyes set blankly and the two hugging people on the couch. Uchi could see the burning jealousy and anger in Ryo’s eyes, and his mind said. “Oh my god, this is bad.”
“R-Ryo…?” Uchi asked in a whisper, trying not to anger Ryo more than he already was.
Ryo just took off, stomping his way back to his car, leaving a speechless Uchi in front of KAT-TUN’s dressing room.
The next day, both KAT-TUN and NewS have a dancing rehearsal together. Ueda was scared and depressed the whole morning, scared how to face Ryo face to face. Uchi was also scared to death that morning. Ryo had been silent the whole morning, and he was certain that silence definitely wasn’t one of Ryo’s personalities.
Finally, the time had come. When NewS entered the studio, KAT-TUN was already there, waiting for them. Once Ryo entered the room beside Uchi, he bent his head down and stared at the floor, with his arms wrapped around his sides. All those little actions caught both Maru and Ryo’s eyes, but Maru was the only one who did anything. Maru walked beside Ueda and put one of his hands on Ueda’s shoulder, and leaned forward and whisper something in Ueda’s ears that seemed to have Ueda relaxed and calmed down a bit. What Maru did to Ueda and Ueda’s reaction all entered Ryo’s eyes without a blink. Ryo clutched his fists hard and then calmed down in a few seconds.
“Places people!” the dance instructor walked in and started the rehearsal. After a long and tiring 50 minutes rehearsal, they were finally released for a break. All of the members were exhausted and were resting on either chairs or couches, trying to enjoy their non-working-like-a-machine moments, all but Ryo.
Ryo walked over to Uchi, and sat down CLOSE beside him. He glanced back at Ueda, who was being offered a bottle of water by Maru. Ueda shot Maru a thank you smile and took the offering. Ryo’s fists were tight again, and he turned to look at Uchi again. “Uchi?” Ryo asked gently, putting his arm around Uchi’ s waist? “Y-Yes?” Uchi was shocked almost speechless at Ryo’s actions. “Wanna come over to my house and sleep over tonight?” Ryo shot Uchi a “say no and I’ll beat the crap out of you” glare. Of course, Ueda couldn’t possibly see that glare at his angle; all Ueda could see was Ryo flirting with Uchi. Ueda’s body trembled and he wrapped himself again with his arms, as if securing himself from something. “O-kay…” Uchi replied with Ryo’s hands still around his waist. “Ok, meet me up after work, kay?” Ryo said that loud enough for Ueda and Maru to hear, and then leaned forward to brush his lips lightly against Uchi’s cheeks. ONLY LIGHTLY! Of course, at Ueda’s angle, the kiss didn’t seemed light, and that was what Ryo had wanted. Ryo wanted Ueda to be hurt like he was when he saw Ueda with Maru. Of course, at this time, Ryo was a complete idiot who doesn’t even let his common sense interfere with his actions.
Tears swelled up in Ueda’s eyes, threatening to fall. Maru slid his hands from Ueda’s shoulders and reached for Ueda’s hands. Maru took Ueda’s hands away from his “securing pose” and clutched it tightly into his as a sigh of supporting. Ueda lifted up his head and stared at Maru’s grin. He hesitated, but then was defeated by Maru’s comforting grin. Ueda’s tensed body calmed down, and he smiled at Maru, “Thanks.”
“Break’s over!” the dance instructor came in and declared the break over. Everyone moved back to their places. Ryo was staring at Ueda and Maru the whole time, especially at their entwined hands.
Hours later, at Ryo’s house.
“What the hell, Ryo?” Uchi shouted out as he entered Ryo’s house. “What’s wrong with you? Inviting me over to sleep and kissing me on the cheek doesn’t help with your situation with Ueda kun!” Uchi continued his yelling. Seeing as Ryo just sat on the couch wordlessly, Uchi yelled again. “RYO!” Finally, Ryo answered. “I…I just… After I saw Ueda and Maru hugging and sleeping together, I just… got so mad and want Ueda…I want show Ueda how hurtful he made me feel.” Ryo threw his head back on the couch. “Today at rehearsal… when I saw Maru and Tat-chan so close…I just…How can Ueda be so nice and sweet to Maru! THAT BIG NOSE FREAK!” Ryo was now very angry. “HE WAS FREAKIN’ SLEEPING WHILE HUGGING ANOTHER GUY! WHILE HE ALREADY HAS A BOYFRIEND! ME! THE SEXY OKASA MAN!” Ryo was out of control, but that didn’t startled Uchi at all. “Ryo…why can’t you just apologize to Ueda kun?” Uchi suggested. “NO! WHY WOULD I?” Ryo shrieked. “HE’S THE ONE WHO SHOULD APOLOGIZE! EVEN IF HE DID, I’M NOT GONNA FORGIVE HIM THAT EASILY!”
“…………” The room was silent again. Neither of them brought up that subject that night. Both Ryo and Uchi had different thoughts going on their minds when they were “asleep”. Uchi thought, “I need to get those two together again…maybe I’ll ask Maru…Yes, Maru! Maru’s Ueda kun’s best friend! Of course he’ll help!” Uchi complimented himself mentally because of how smart he thought he was. He then took out his cell ohone silently, and text messaged Maru.
Maru,
Help me get Ryo and Ueda together again! You don’t want to see Ueda miserable, right? Contact me again tomorrow so we can form a plan together! Thank you!

Uchi stared at his cell phone, waiting for Maru’s reply. No more than 30 seconds passed by, Uchi received a new message:

I’d love to help you! I’ll see you tomorrow at lunch break! Bye =)
Maru.
After receiving a “yes” from Maru, he felt the troubles lifted off his shoulders (for now), and drifted into sleep.
