Chapter One
Later that same night, Jonne watched Ville go to their brothers aid, again and agen. As Ville came into the bathroom, Jonne pu down his lip gloss and turned to his baby brother.
“Are you sure you can handle this?” He asked, for what was abouth the 7th time that night, Ville just chuckled.
“Jonne, I can handle it. You and Dunn should go out tonight; you guys deserve a peaceful night out. I can find something to eat, and I doubt Tommi’s going to each much.” Jonne smiled kissing his brother’s check, before returning to fixing his make-up. As he shut off the bathroom light, the doorbell rang.
“See yeah, bro.” Ville called out as Jonne went to answer the door. Skipping steps, he basically flew to the bottom of the stairs. He stopped suddenly when he was a police officer through the glass window.
“No,” The word came out as a soft whisper, possibilities ran through his head, one of his friends, Ryan or his mom. Opening the door, he let the officer in. He looked at Jonne sympathetically.
“Son, it would be a good idea to get your brothers together, it might be easier to tell you all together.” Jonne could only nodd, he reached out to close the door, when he saw Ryan walking. Seeing the police car ran towards Jonne.
“What happened? Sparkle, are you okay? Is it Tommi? Did something happen to Ville? What?” Jonne just let himself be pulled into the hug. The two then led the police officer up the stairs. Ville looked confused, at first, and then he paled when he saw the officer come up behind Ryan. Ryan then led the man into the living room, while Ville and Jonne got Tommi out of his room. The four boys sat on the couch, facing the officer in front of them.
“Boys, I hate to be the one to say it, but there has been an accident with your mother.” That was all the officer had to say, before Jonne lost it. Burring his face into Ryan’s chest he cried. He didn’t hear a word after that. Nothing about how she had, had a heart attack. Or that she was in intensive care, and as soon as she was strong enough, going in for surgery. He didn’t hear any of it. Ville was starring at his brother. Jonne was the strong one, he had stayed strong during the time when their dad left, the move to the other side of the world and when his big brother became unexplainably ill. Now, Jonne could only cry, his strength to hold the family together was gone.
