There's a boy, lost his way, looking for someone to play
He was walking and walking and walking, looking down the whole time. He didn't know where he was, he had lost his way long ago. When he caught a glimpse of the sunset, he raised his head and saw a little playground. He looked around only to find emptiness, all children were already home. He sat on the swing, looking up at the sky without really seeing it, it was a very cloudy orange sky. Without him noticing, the sky was already dark. He slowly lowered his gaze and saw the moon, roof of houses, lights being turned off through the windows, and a girl.
There's a girl, in the window, tears rolling down her face
She came back to her hometown, back at her parents'. She was the only one awake in the house, so she was there, alone, in the living room which never changed. Her heart ached, she closed her eyes, trying to forget. She headed to the window and watched the dark sky, she couldn't see the stars, there was too much clouds, and the moon was partially hidden. Without her noticing, tears had rolled down her face. She was crying silently as she always did. She was about to close the curtain and go back to her bedroom when she noticed a guy.
We're only lost children, trying to find a friend
He couldn't stop staring at her. One blink and he was already standing in front of her house. She stared back at him without moving, without hiding her tears, just staring in his eyes. He slowly hold out his hand for her even though the window was between them. She smiled through her tears. He saw her retreating from the window, and he felt a sudden pinch, he was again being let down.
We don't know where to go, so I'll just get lost with you
She opened the door and timidly stepped out. She faintly clear her throat as the guy was again looking down. And she would never forget the smile he gave her at that moment.
This night they forget about everyone around them. It was just the two of them near each other, close as if they always knew the other. From now on, they were never to be detached.
We'll never fall apart, 'cause we fit together like two pieces of a broken heart
