Ryosuke stepped back and turned to Yannie. "Give this to her." he said and walked away.
"Oh no.." she muttered and hurried inside their classroom.

"What are you doing? Please stand up." Yuri said as she tried to retrieve her hands.
"As you say, ohimesama." Misaki obediently stood up.
"and stop calling me that.."
Yuri went out of the classroom to cool herself down. She didn't even notice Yannie, waving the book.
"Is this hers?" Misaki asked.
"uhn.. Yeah.. What did you do to her anyway?"
"I'll give it to her."
Misaki snatched the book from her.
"o0kay?"

"*sigh* I really miss that book."
Yoroshiku, Ohimesama.

"Gahd.. What's with that guy?"
"What's with who?" A guy asked. Yuri turned to look at him.
"ah. Yamada-san."
Ryosuke tried to avoid her eyes,
"I see you've got yourself a boyfriend."

Yuri tilted her head. "really? who is it then?" she looked confused.
"oh nevermind."
"eh? nande?!?"
Before Ryosuke could answer, another guy hugged Yuri from behind.
"Is this.. my book?" Yuri asked looking at the book the boy was holding.
"uhn."
Without thinking, Yuri turned around and hugged the boy back.
"Arigatou, Takahata-san!"
After that, she continued to read her book while walking to her classroom.
Ryosuke's shocked (with a dash of jealousy) attracted Misaki's attention.
Heh. He smirked, making Ryosuke heat up like he's going to explode. Ryosuke glared at him for a few seconds and headed back to his classroom.

"THAT BOOK CAME FROM ME!" Ryosuke ranted to Inoo, who was slouching on his seat thinking of something irrelevant.
"I found her first!" I'm more decent than him! He's a pervert!" he continued.
"So you say that you are not a pervert?" Inoo was brought back to earth when he heard the word "pervert".
"Well.. I am. But I do not hug nor kiss a girl's hand at first meeting."
"But that's a sign of respect, don't you think?"
"Wwwait. Are you on my side or Misaki's side??" Ryosuke asked.
"uhm.. nobody's.."
"AAARRRRGGGHHHHH!!!!!"
Ryosuke stomped out of the room and found Yuri reading by the bench. He thought of not talking to her or avoiding her but whenever he sees her, his hatred disappears."
Maybe I can never hate her. He thought and sat down beside her.
"Hey." he greeted but he got no reply. Pissed, he snatched the book from her and said, "Could you at least for one day be a normal girl."
She glared at him, "You think I'm abnormal?"
"N-no! Never!" He stuttered. Yabai! Is she mad?!
"If that's the case, give me back my book."
"If I hug you, will you hug me back?"
"G-g-give it back." Ryosuke's words repeated inside Yuri's head.. the only difference is that, the voice is coming from a small boy.
"But.. You hugged him back.."
"Sorry.. I wasn't thinking that time.."
They both fell silent for a while.
"That book was given to me by someone very special. I don't want it lost or ruined."
"Na, ku-chan. This book is for you. You've wanted it for a long time right?"
"uwaa~!!! Sora-kun! Arigatou!"
"Who gave that to you?" Ryosuke asked.
"Uhm. I forgot his real name. We used to call each other using a pen name."
Ryosuke returned the book and left. He rode his car, dazed, thinking if Yuri is the girl he knew and liked 10 years ago.
"I call him sora-kun and he calls me Ku-chan. He has those big ears and cute nose just like yours."
"Ku-chan." he muttered.

"nai.. Nai! NAI!!" a girl screamed from Yuri's class.
Ryosuke saw Yuri panicking and searching for something inside her bag.
One week has passed but Ryosuke hasn't talked to Yuri about it nor did he talk to her about anything.
"Maybe you left it at home." he heard Yannie comforting her.
"NO! I was reading it before the class started!" Yuri insisted.

"I'll find it for you." he said.
"Why would you?"
"For our friendship."
"huh?"
He paused. "I guess you didn't recognize me..." He paused again.
"I'm Sora-kun."
