Title: The Mission
Rating: PG-13
Pairing: Ryo/Tegoshi
Summary: Tegoshi wants Ryo's attention. Pointless fluff inspired by the last LIVE concert reports/pics/fancams.
Tegoshi was trying very hard to pretend that what he was seeing wasn't bothering him. In fact, he was trying so hard, that he guessed that the look on his face on that instant was something similar to how he looked every time someone would stare at him at an airport, or point and giggle something nonsensical about his presence; a look of total and utter indifference. Yes, he was definitely not that bothered, if he was managing to be this convincing.
What he was witnessing had been occurring ever since the LIVE tour started. After every show, and sometimes before, and even on some of the rehearsals, Ryo and Yamapi would sneak out by themselves and after a few minutes they would come back smiling, whispering things to each other, and Tegoshi could have sworn he saw Yamapi adjusting his clothes on one occasion.
On this particular day, even with his best poker face, Tegoshi couldn't help but stare. They only had one more show left, on the next day, and he had just shown everyone the fucking cross-dressing costume that he was going to wear, so why on Earth was Ryo still giving Yamapi more attention? To be fair, he hadn't actually worn the outfit in front of them yet, he just showed it to them on the clothes rack, but still. It was disrespectful. Disrespectful like licking Massu's face, and going on about Akanishi Jin before a song, just because he happened to be there.
Tegoshi shook off his thoughts, wondering when exactly he had turned into a bitter and moody man. He made a mental note to hang out with Shige less often.
He looked up again, tapping his fingers on the wooden table, eyes wondering around the room in a fake casualness he was proud to have mastered. It was only the three of them in the small room, but Ryo and Yamapi were still managing to speak low enough so that Tegoshi couldn't hear a word.
'Ryo-kun,' he spoke, moderating the calm volume of his voice like a pro, 'can I talk to you for a second?'
Ryo turned his eyes away from Yamapi, landing his sight on the seemingly relaxed younger boy, who smiled slightly.
Yamapi excused himself, mumbling something about checking a dance move with Massu and planning some fan service with Shige during 'Sakura Girl', or maybe it was 'Weeeek'; Tegoshi didn't pay much attention.
'I want your opinion,' Tegoshi started, getting up and picking up his outfit from the rack, 'on how it looks.'
Ryo smirked, crossing his arms over his chest while ping-ponging his eyes between the ridiculous clothes that Tegoshi was holding and Tegoshi himself, who had now acquired a distinct glow in his eyes.
'Okay.' The Osakan said, nudging his head towards an empty practice room; Tegoshi didn't question why they didn't just stay there where they were, considering there was no one else in the room.
When Ryo closed the door behind them, Tegoshi cleared his throat, handed the outfit to Ryo, and began taking his shirt off. Slowly.
He looked up at Ryo quickly, giving him an innocent smile, and went back to his buttons. He threw the shirt on the floor and unzipped his pants, kicking them to the side. The room was noticeably cold, but Tegoshi couldn't really feel it.
Ryo handed him the outfit and watched as Tegoshi put on every little intricate detail of the dress, the wig, the shoes; everything. Tegoshi, very subtly and wisely, caught glimpses of Ryo watching him through the corner of his eyes, and a few things didn't escape his observation: Ryo was definitely paying attention to him now, so much that he even licked his lips at one point, and he was pretty sure that Yamapi could have walked in naked right then and there and Ryo wouldn't have noticed.
'So, what do you think?' Tegoshi asked brightly, swirling around a couple of times to make the fabric move.
Ryo raised an eyebrow, and gave the younger boy a wide smile.
'You look fucking amazing. It's kinda disturbing.' He muttered with a small laugh. Tegoshi thought Ryo's voice came out a little muffled, like his throat was dry.
'Hmm thanks.' Tegoshi nodded his head, pretending to be having trouble tying up the knot on the front of the dress. 'Help me out.' He asked simply.
Ryo uncrossed his arms slowly, blinking his eyes a few times before finally moving from his spot and standing in front of Tegoshi.
They locked eyes and exchanged smiles, while Ryo moved the soft fabric of the bow between his fingers with unexpected skill.
Ryo's hands lingered on the bow for a few seconds after he was done, and he seemed lost in the sight before him; Tegoshi looked absolutely angelical, but with an irresistible devious look on his face.
'You know what Pi said to me a few minutes ago?' Ryo asked in his signature husky voice. Tegoshi's expression hardened a bit, like he had awoken from a pleasant fantasy; was Ryo seriously talking about Yamapi?
'Hmm.' Tegoshi uttered, raising an eyebrow and waiting for the worst.
'That you're jealous.' Ryo said, mouthing the last word slowly as if he was enjoying each syllable way more than he should.
Tegoshi opened his mouth in fake shock, now avoiding eye-contact.
'What would I be jealous of, exactly?' Tegoshi asked, recomposing himself and looking back at Ryo, who had now moved his hands to Tegoshi's shoulders. He thought to himself that the question he had just asked probably gave away more than he wanted to; he wasn't denying it or faking surprise, he was actually questioning if there was anything to be jealous of.
Ryo grinned, moving a long lock of wig hair away from Tegoshi's face.
'Pi's getting a tattoo,' Ryo started, sighing in frustration as he began his explanation, 'well, he wants to but he doesn't know what to get exactly, so I've been drawing different things on him with a marker everyday. We're just joking around.' He finished, waiting for Tegoshi to react.
'Oh. Well, whatever, I'm not your girlfriend.' Tegoshi said in an awfully quick sentence. He bit his lip right after he said it, wondering to himself yet again why he was so moody, and how much of his attitude Ryo would be willing to tolerate if he kept going like that.
Ryo bit his lip, too, staring at Tegoshi's mouth.
'You're not?' He asked, teasingly.
Tegoshi took a deep breath to speak, but before he could Ryo pressed his body against the wall with his own, and kissed him on the lips. The friction instantly ruined Ryo's work on the bow as he moved his hands over Tegoshi's chest and waist in clumsy motions.
As Ryo closed his eyes and slowly explored Tegoshi's mouth with his tongue, he thought to himself that he would have to ask Tegoshi to never, ever throw that outfit away, even after the tour was over.
Tegoshi smiled victoriously into the kiss, bringing Ryo's face closer with his hands tugged at his dark hair while Ryo felt Tegoshi's toned thighs with one hand.
A knock on the door made them separate. One of the staff members was calling them for the final meeting of the day. Tegoshi couldn't help but notice how unaffected the old man looked, talking to them casually even though Ryo's hands were still on a cross-dressed Tegoshi, and their faces only inches apart; Ryo later explained to Tegoshi that the staff had been working on Johnny's Entertainment for half their lives and that they were used to things like that.
'Well, okay then.' Tegoshi said happily, giving Ryo a kiss on the cheek before heading towards the door.
'Just a heads up,' Ryo said, making Tegoshi turn around before leaving the room, 'I'm going to do a lot of things to you on stage tomorrow when you come out dressed like that.'
Tegoshi's only response was a pleased smile. Mission accomplished, he thought to himself.
