...pardon my ignorance. I've dealt with .VOB files, but I'm not sure what one does with them in parts like this. Any advice?

Join all the files for each part using HJSplit then just watch the parts seperatly like normal

I've downloaded one part of it. The quality is EXCELLENT! It's wonderfully clear. I would definitely reccomend you down load it.

Um, also...some of the links aren't working. The second part of the first disk, for example..says the file is unavailable.
