It's Been Awhile

So, I ended things badly with my girlfriend. Nothing I say or do changes the mistakes or correct actions I took. I did need time to not feel bound, but at the same time I realize that I need someone as close as she was. I want her to be in my life, but it will take awhile for that. What bothers me is that even if I were to hook up with anyone,
