I really and truly dislike the Anonymous ask feature on Tumblr for this very reason. It makes it incredibly easy for people to be so blunt that it borders (or even crosses it!) on offensive and rude behavior. Those faceless Anon's seem to forget that there is a living, breathing person with emotions behind the monitor that blogs on Tumblr (or any other blogging platform that allows Anonymous commenting).

I know and they feel that it gives them the "right" to voice their opinions on matters they know nothing about. It just really angers me that I'm expected to act like an infatuated 14 year old or it makes it seem like I don't care. I mean we both know that it's not true but to have someone judge you like that is hurtful.
And the thing is people get it worse. It's utterly disgusting behaviour.

Yes, it is very hurtful and I'm so sorry that some faceless twit has upset you like this. :\ I really wish I could give you a real hug instead of the virutal idea of one, but I hope that you and your boyfriend were the better person and ignored them despite how upset you were. Sometimes, that's really all you can do.
