ok, so....we were all joking around the other day about making some sort of catapult/trebuchet/ballista deal this summer...well, i stole a bunch of wood from work this weekend and brought it home...it's pretty strong southern-yellow pine (if that means anything to anyone), so it's decent quality

ok first of all trebuchets are fucking awesome and second of all hell yeah I am very much interested in helping you make something!!!

kick ass! lemme know what your schedual is like...maybe sometime this week/weekend/next week we can get started....be thinkin about designs and such

i personally preferr catapults and ballistas over trebuchets...mostly because the trebuchet has to be proportionatly huge to whatever you're hurling...whereas the other 2 can be much smaller and lighter to achieve the same effect

yeah no I agree the trebuchet would have to be big.. and i don't care myself cause i like all sorts of siege machines!! But I leave for Florida this friday and do not come back until the following thursday... so i can't help till then but I do look forward to it and will be thinking about designs and such

sometime that week would be fine...that weekend won't work though...if we had to do it on a weekend, the 8th and 15th would be clear...supposing i don't have to go to C-ville...but i'm sure we can work something out
