Okay, the thunderstorms we had last night were violent enough to be put in the "natural disater" category

Ack. I hate floods. Been in too many of'em. Which is one reason now I am glad I live in a place that gets around 35 cm of rain a year....

In a year we get more than that, because the east of France is in an area where there is a lot of Rain, but it rained 86cm of water in barely 4 hours.
They say it is the equivalent of 6weeks of rain.

Because there wasn't water there, I didn't realize that there was water in other places. I only saw that on the news this morning. I hate floods like that one Oo
