well, i thought i'd get better at updating when i started school again (procrastination) but since i've actually been doing my homework and studying thats been hard to do. i rarely even check my e-mails. so seriousally, if you want to get a hold of me the best way is my cell phone. its the beginning of spring break and the first thing on my mind

Are your English papers really that vague?

well, this is what the syllibus (sp) says:

"Your thesis should be narrowly focused on an opinion you have about a story or stories. The thesis must be argueable; in other words, you must be agrueing something that could be viewed from a perspective different from yours. Your essay should articulate a clear sense of your overall position in the introductory paragraph and give logical reasons for that position in each paragraph that follows. You must quote specific examples form the text the demonstrate your points, using proper MLA format for citations. Yours essay must also include a 'Works Cited' page listing the sources you quote."

i just personally work better when they give you a few topics and you pick one and then make your thesis more specific...i think i'll be up all night tonight.
