FFFFFF-- WHUT?!
I read the latest Bleach chapter and I don't know whether to be angry or happy or....ARGH.
I. AM. EXASPARATED. Ichigo crying when Rukia stabbed him with the sword Isshin was carrying, was so deliciously unexpected and heartbreaking. But does that mean Isshin has given up his Shinigami powers for the sake of his son's, or was it merely a catalyst? And since Rukia's back (as Vice Captain?!) does that mean that Renji and all the other squad members have advanced too? I am so excited at the prospect of seeing them all again. A little frustraed Kubo took us round this circle to get us here, but happy nonetheless. Oh, and Ichigo's 'new' sword and outfit look kinda boom. ;D
I also watched a few films in the last couple of days: Letters to Juliet, which was okay, and The Bounty Hunter and Mean Girls 2, which were just as bad as each other. The last was so terrible I had to watch the original straight away again, because the original plastics and their equally shameless couterparts will never get old. :)
Then I proceeded to go find and watch the new
SH trailer. 8D Ahahahaaa. I am anticipating that muchly.
In other news, uni sent me my enrolment and registration date letters, reminding a still have quite a few books on the reading list to finish. Said reading list was only sent to everyone else along with this latest letter, making me smirk quite happily
I did read in Stafford a bit. They were the thinnest ones on my shelf... The first being A Modest Proposal and other stories by Jonathan Swift, which was awesome because the guy deals with satire, and man, can he do it well. The second was Antigone by Sophocle, for which I will be ternally grateful the professor told me to get this particular translation, because seriously, it was easier than reading Shakespeare. ^^; As for the play itself, it 's certainly the typical Tragedy/Romace thing. It's the first thing I've read by Sophocles, and I know he's the father of all Tragedies, but because I've read his stuff after everything else, it just makes Antigone seem like another silly OTT play. Oh dear.
I'm going to read The Rime of the Ancient Mariner next, and then possbily reward myself by finally starting A Game of Thrones~
