Roaches and Rain

I was stil half asleep when I left the house amd I didn't feel it until I was halfway to the bus stop.
Something was squirming and wriggling under my foot.
I took off my right shoe and out scurried a cockroach. Whoaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
I put on my shoe, walked a couple of steps and felt something still squirming under my toes. 
I took off my shoe,
