Perhaps it is best that I left for a little while...

I've found that I am very homesick lately. Perhaps it is simply because it is getting a little colder here in Japan, but I would really like to go home. I realize that Egypt will be very different from the way I remember it, but surely there are some things that time cannot change - the Nile, the deserts, certainly some of it will be just the way I ( Read more... )

I would love to go out to lunch, Set-san, and we can take a walk afterwards!

Wonderful. Would you like to go tomorrow, Shizuka? And is there anywhere in particular you like to go? I very seldom eat outside of the mansion so perhaps you should choose where we dine.

There is a rather nice Chinese restaurant near the university, we could go there, and then take a walk in the park if you would like.

That sounds great. When and where would you like to meet up?

Of course the offer still stands. When are you leaving? And how long will you be gone?

I have not yet decided when I want to leave - surely not before Mokuba has settled back into school, and now work in the office, I suppose. But soon. Perhaps by the end of the month.

I don't intend to be gone longer than a week or two. I think that will be enough time for me accomplish what I wish to. Not to mention that by then I will likely be homesick all over again and want to come back to you here.

Very well. Do you wish to use KC planes to get you there and KC hotels to live in, or would you rather be independent? I can arrange details if you select the former. Mind you, the only KC hotel we have is in Kairo, and you, I presume, may want to go elsewhere as well?

Do you have a bank account? It seems foolhardy to carry cash around, yet I'm assuming you don't have a credit card.... Hm, you can have one of my credit cards, that solves it.

I wish be travelling Egypt quite a bit once I'm there so the hotel will not be necessary. If I could use one of your planes, I would be very appreciative, though.

...That is one of the problems - I have no actual currency of this era. I did get to bring some wealth with me from my time that I could trade for such currency easily enough, but if you think that your credit card, as you call it, would be easier, that is fine. I will not need much money anyway - only enough for shelter and to eat every day or so.
