Isshi's POV. Sorry for my completely messy writing. m(_ _)m
It's really short...because I dunno what to write...actually I dunno what I'm writing. u.u;;
Summary: Isshi had forgotten something really important but thankfully Nao is oblivious. (Sorry, suck summary)
Practice had always been the same.
Always. Day in and day out.
There’s nothing unusual about it, as you can see.
But…
Unfortunately for me, today was one day I wish I wasn’t in a very difficult position.
It was right after practice that Nao skipped over happily with a single and yet deadly question that stabbed me right on the back:
“Konnichi wa, Isshi-san! Did you get me anything for my birthday??”
Uh…yeah, that kind of question. That indeed had caught me off-guard.
It was Nao’s birthday and I’ve forgotten to get him something! I knew something was missing when I was drinking tea last night! Of all the days that was stressing me off, this one takes the cake…literally.
Before I could answer, Izumi strode in, along with Akiya and Shin. He gave Nao a pat on the shoulder and said, “Tanjoubi omedetou, Nao-san. Are you ready for your surprise?”
They knew! They knew and they didn’t bother to tell me! I know I’m the type who is calm and collected about everything but…how could they?
My thoughts was then interrupted by a tug on my arm. I turned to see Nao’s brown eyes peered closely into mine. Slightly taken aback, I asked questioningly, “…What is it, Naoran?”
He tilted his head innocently and replied with a huge grin, “I guess you didn’t hear. Izumi-san said we’re going to the indoor skating rink for my birthday!”
Feeling dumbstruck, I replied slowly, “…Great. When?”
“Right now. Let’s go, Isshi-san.” Izumi pushed me from behind, urging me to move forward while Nao pulled my arms.
“Mou, don’t do that. I’m going.” I turned my gaze from Nao to Izumi and back. I heard bits of giggles from Akiya and Shin,...and I don't really understand what's so funny.
"Keep walking, Isshi-san." Akiya gestured.
Urk…this is not good…
--
"Wahhh!! Isshi-san, look out!"
Turning to see a certain brunette nearly ramming straight at me, I welcomed him into my arms (okay, that sounded wrong when I said that).
Yes, we're here at the skating rink...just the five of us surprisingly.
Izumi had said, "We've got this place to ourselves for the entire day! Isn't that cool?"
...And I wonder how did he managed to do such a feat. Well, that's our leader-sama.
Gazing down at Nao, I asked, "You okay?"
He nodded enthusiastically. For a moment there, I thought he rammed into me on purpose...then again, I don't know.
"Ne, Isshi-san. Izumi-san told me to fetch you. He said he wants to show something." He pointed out.
"...Okay then." I replied as we left the rink. I had to hold onto Nao's arm just in case he fell. His legs were shaking quite a bit so you'd never know.
And by the time we've reached the lobby...no one was there. Absolutely no one.
Where'd the others go? Didn't Izumi want to show something?
Staring at Nao, I also found him entirely confused. It seemed like he didn't know either.
Unfortu-I mean fortunately,...was it fortunately? Anyways, an idea popped up. I finally knew what to give Nao for his birthday.
Gazing his way, I muttered, "Naoran?"
He turned, confused. "Hai?"
"...I haven't give you anything for your birthday, did I?"
Nao shook his head.
"Well...you want it?"
Blinking repeatedly, he shrugged and slowly nodded.
Okay, then. It's a yes.
Grabbing his collar slowly, I dragged him into a kiss.
Okay, so it wasn't that much of a present. Still, I think it'd be sufficient enough.
As for Izumi and the others...I think I knew what they were up to because I saw a small flash right behind Nao. Let's just say...I'll get them tomorrow.
Teh End
Ugh...I think I messed it up big time. @_@
