Well, it's official. My older brother finally decided to ask his girlfriend of five years to marry him. It's about time, in my opinion.
And good luck to everyone running for student council. I know not everyone can get the spot they want but I hope that everyone will be happy with the results and work together as a good team.
I'm a little on ends about what she wants my brother to do though. She said that before they get married, she'd like him to find our mother and try to patch things up with her. We haven't seen or heard from mother in years, not since I was in junior high. If mother wanted to be part of our lives, I feel like she'd have done something.
