Hah! I was just looking at the pattern for that dress as a potential wedding dress. :) I won't be sewing it myself though. We've decided that our gift to ourselves is that we each get one beautifully tailored outfit out of the deal. I'm trying to find a dress that is fancy enough to be a wedding dress but that I'll still wear to other fancy dress events.

Fabulous sewing machine choice. You'll have to let me take a spin on it sometime. I want to replace my pretend Pfaff at some point. I'd be terrified to try sewing charmeuse on my walking foot, Mama's such a beast. I suppose though that if I put a smaller needle on her I could do it in theory.

You're welcome to come play with it any time you'd like! Maybe I'll get some pictures of the mockups and the process…

I will! I love the dress, too. It's so classy. Makes me want to watch Gosford Park over and over again. :)
