Glad to hear you're doing well, and I hope you continue to take care of yourself.
I promise I'll be gentle when I slap you upside the head the next time I see you ;). There should definitely be a DC get together some time this summer.
i really wish you had told your profs about that kinda thing - they're usually very understanding. and you're amazing for pulling off those grades under your health circumstances. please be well, and take care of yourself. i'm here if you need me.
what exactly do you have? somehow, i always knew that you were sick too... or at least, i got that impression. it's okay. i sympathize with a lot of this post, mostly because i know what it feels like. i hate talking about my disease and things with people, especially when they're all frantically worried. it drives me crazy to see people worried about me. i also know what you mean about the absence thing... when i started missing classes, so many of my teachers were like hmmmmmmm, are you a skipper? and it was really frustrating because i had a legitimate reason and all, but i mean, thinking from their perspective, it does make sense, doesn't it? i don't know. it's just frustrating. i'm really worried about college because i know i can't afford to go back to the hospital. do you find that your college experience has been limited because of this?
