ok, so i havn't been on LJ in a REALLY long time, but WTF- ADVERTISMENTS?!?! how do i get them off my journal? this ain't Myspace yo!

It's a new membership level, which should only happen if you opted in for it.

yeah, i think i accidentally selected it. I was having a bad moment last week, and decided to delete my journal.. then when i tried to re-activate it, the only choice i had was w/advertisements...now i can't get them to go away....
thats what i get for being fickle
but how do i get them to go away!?

the link above should give you a choice, but if not contact support. they should be able to fix it.

There are some cases ( http://news.livejournal.com/91919.html ) where you as a unpaid user would see ads no matter what.

If you clicked the beta version of it, it should let you switch back and forth between ads and no ads. I'd email lj support about it.
