[Her breath hitched in her throat, back against the wall as she slid against it. Violet eyes scouting the area for any possible threat... Her knife at the ready at her side as she glared at every passing shadow... Every creak of the floor ( Read more... )

[Have Helena run around the corner, her arms full of salt shakers (of all things). As she glances at Belarus, catches sight of the knife, and promptly slips and breaks every single salt shaker. Although she manages to stretch out her hand to break her fall, she still lands partly on her head. Her forearm is bleeding from the broken glass, and she's dazed for several seconds.]

OW! You should watch where you're pointing that thing!

[...She stared down at the salt shakers. ...That would be unpleasant in a fresh wound.] The blade did not cut you. It was the glass you were holding... [Though the knife was (albeit very slowly) was put away as the woman knelt down to the other. Gloved hand reaching out to offer her help with standing back on her feet.]

... My apologies if I startled you.

[ooc: OW WOW I DIDNT THINK OF THAT. lol.]

[As Helena started to get her wits back about her, she noticed a small tingling in her arm. She ignored it at first, as she took hold of Belarus' hand and hoisted herself to her feet. She rubbed wearily at her throbbing head, and consequently noticed the salt mixed with blood all over her forearm.]

[At the sight of this, her head cleared instantly, and her pain receptors kicked into overdrive.]

AHHHHHHH! [She frantically began rubbing the salt off with her clothes, getting bloodstains all over her jeans. She also instinctively grabbed at Belarus' shoulder, and squeezed to relieve herself of all the pain.]

[ooc: IT IS BETTER THAN LEMON JUICE?]

[The nation winced at the hand on her shoulder, not that it hurt, but that it caught her incredibly off guard... though she managed to keep her footing and let the girl squeeze her before reaching out her gloved hand and attempting to get some of the salt off of her as well.

Partially to free her from the pain.

Partially to free her shoulder from the girl's hand.] Why were you carrying salt shakers in the first place?

[ well luckily England ends up being one of those unknowns! He's walking along somewhat slowly, trailing along a line of brick dust because IDK they used it in The Skeleton Key. He's drawing up a protective line, because obviously it's the work of poltergeists. In any case, he wasn't exactly aware of his surroundings ]

[The knife swung, her eyes narrowing before widening at the sight of her blade digging into... the wall. Violet eyes narrowed as she looked down, thinking that she might have miss-aimed and should have been aiming for a midget or a small child...

...

Or England. England worked too.] ...Inklund?

Fucking hell!

[ for once, being somewhat smaller was a major advantage. Falling over on his butt because good god who expects to have an axe/knife murderer waiting for them around a corner. Buuut after a few seconds, as the heart attack subsides he gets a closer look at who exactly tried to murder him. ]

Belarus? What the deuce are you doing here?

[The slightest bit of a blush was on her cheeks... that would have been a rather unfortunate death for the Englishman... Turn a corner and then BAM---Knife to the face.

She was glad that she missed though... England had never done anything to directly hurt her. He was not an ally, but he was far from an enemy or someone to be worried about.

After all... he was the one on the ground, and she was the one with the knife.] Likely the same as you, Inklund... I am here to be toyed with by this 'Wonderland'...
