the cell phone was actually a complete mistake. i just couldn't seem to imagine Pete without one.

but then, here's how this 'verse works: There is The City, which is relatively normal, except that magic is a bit more common place, and then there is Bad Ass, and the mountains and stuff, where GW, and Nanny and such live. I kind of want Magrat to get in on the action, but writing her would annoy the shit out of me.
