Question: You have to buy 100 LCD Monitors. What would you buy? Rectangular Wide or Square ones?
Opinions?

The boys both have widescreen monitors and I hate them. I would pick square especially for a work environment.

Wide for spreadsheets, need to see as many columns as possible.

Wide for graphics - Photoshop tools take up screen space to left and right.

Wide for preventing too much scrolling. Up and down is an easy movement, up and down AND left and right is a pain.

Wide for... most anything. Wide is probably cheaper.

Nope, price difference is almost nill. I too preffer square ones but the IT guy told me that square ones are going to be discontinued... that the ones that companies are going to build are the wide ones so he is recommending me wides... but i thought squares ones are better... so i wanted other opinions. Like what do they use in 1st world countries. Flops made very good points.
