This post will offend someone. It will anger someone. If that is you, I can't say I'm sorry, but I do hope that you'll learn to open up and constantly seek new and deeper understandings

If you're talking about fb I hope there wasn't any misunderstanding. I've never thought you were a homophobe (and most of the "you's" I used were general yous - not you as in you, Sarah Langer but I was typing from my ipod so it was hard to go back and edit things to make them sound clear XD) or that you'd think a boy that wears pink is gay
( ... )
It's mailing -who- did the calling, why they did it, and how they did it, and the impact it had on my personal relationships/the way people treated me. It was more of the situation and my own belief in being the one to define my identity, which I define neither as gay or straight, rather than the actual reality of homosexuality.
I really can't say much simply because everyone has already made a point, or many points that I agree with in regards to this post. Especially 'dienaid,' who has clearly rectified the argument in favor of what humanity should be like.
Being new to 'homosexuality' (what I mean is being open about it towards others) has made it clear that there is a very real fear that one must live with in being homosexual. Don't get me wrong, everyone is exposed to some risk in regards to living...but some more than others as everyone has cleared displayed based on ethnicity and sexuality.
All I can say is, "Sarah, props to you." I will say one thing however, understanding more of the gay world has shown that the stereotypes others produce...sadly, are not far from the truth.
Edit: Since my previous post had nothing to do with your post Sarah, I wanted to say that I agree with you on the 'thinking clearly.' People have a massive fascination with words and applying intrinsic and meaningful power to those words. They fail to acknowledge its meaning and incorporate emotion into those words that are defined as negative or positive. So anyone who remotely feels differently towards something, will, by default, become a simple label or follow a word that does not truly define them. Way to go with collective effervescence.
