“Confession day for everyone~!” Alexander announced. “Confess of all your wrongdoings!”

“Huh?” Kevin asked, passing by with a cup of water.

“Don't bother about him.” Kibum said, hanging an arm over Kevin's shoulders before guiding him away from the oldest.

“Yah! Kibum-ah!” Alexander pouted, grabbing Kevin's arm as an attempt to keep someone listening to him.

“Wow, wow, what's happening?” Soohyun passed by, curious about the tug-of-war. “Is Kevin the rope?”

“No! Today is confession day!” Alexander brightly announced again.

Kibum and Soohyun exchanged glances. “Come on, Kevin. Let's go.”

“But it sounds fun?” Kevin blinked. “Is it a game? I want to play!”

“Oh, goodness! Kevin, I love you.” Alexander hugged Kevin tightly, earning him a glare from Kibum. “Let's get everyone to participate! Shin Dongho! Today is your day!”

“No, my birthday isn't until six months later.” Dongho shouted back, probably on the computer again.

“It's confession day, you brat! Get out here and tell us every lie you told! No lying today!” Alexander clicked his tongue before dragging Dongho out from his room.

Soohyun grinned and started pinching Dongho's cheeks as soon as he appeared. The whole thing was getting boring, but now he had something to play with - Dongho's face. Kibum figured he was the only one with nothing much to do. It was all Kevin's fault.

“Eli! Kiseop! Get out of there or I'll resort to my variety of methods.” Alexander grinned, causing Dongho to stop Soohyun's hands from abusing his face anymore.

“What methods?” Dongho asked, wondering if he could use them. “Stop! I need my face to earn a living!”

“Tsk! You brat!” Soohyun messed up Dongho's hair by ruffling, deciding to hook his arm around the youngest instead.

“I'm not telling you, you are to stop getting things your way with underhand methods!” Alexander chided, and Eli and Kiseop appeared the next moment.

“Hypocrite.” Eli muttered.

“Off to the dining table where we can sit comfortably and talk comfortably.” Alexander chirped, skipping off with a blur Kevin, much to Kibum's annoyance.

“Your fault for not gripping him tighter.” Dongho rubbed in, getting a death glare from the older member.

“Dongho's offending more and more people!” Soohyun chuckled.

“Not my fault, Xander-hyung says to not tell lies today.” Dongho shrugged, smirking internally.

“Yeah, you only use Xander-hyung's words to your advantages. Other times, you completely forget his existence.” Kiseop rolled his eyes.

“Let's go, don't keep Xander-hyung waiting.” Kibum growled, later muttering silently. “Or Kevin will be suffering.”

“Today's confession day, why don't you confess?” Soohyun grinned, nudging Kibum. “It's confession day~!”

“Why are you so enthusiastic about it?” Kibum asked monotonously.

“What are you guys talking about?” Kevin asked, hand holding onto Kibum's arm, pulling him along to the table. “Xander-hyung’s bringing out all kinds of props waiting for you all! It’s scary.”

As soon as everyone settled down, Alexander used his toy hammer to hit the table twice. “Attention! As I’ve said, today is for you to confess your wrong doings! Not a lie is to be told today.”

“What if we refuse to participate?” Dongho raised up his hand, only to get everyone to glare at him.

“If you don't confess, you will bring your regret to the new year 2011!” Alexander exclaimed.

“That’s all? I refuse to participate.” Dongho pushed back his chair but got caught by his hyung-deul. “Let me go!”

“We’re all waiting for your confessions.” Eli raised an eyebrow. “You’re the highlight of today.”

“Okay, then Dongho shall start the ball rolling! Any lies and there’ll be no birthday gifts nor Christmas gifts. More importantly, we wouldn’t give you money in the new year even if you wished us a happy new year!” Alexander threatened, knowing any of the three things would most probably move the youngest. “If it’s any comfort, we’ll have to forgive you before the new year, which is tomorrow.”

“Okay fine!” Dongho pouted cutely. “I…actually failed two major exams this year.”

“You did?!” Alexander shrieked, falling onto the nearest person - Soohyun.

“Well, I wanted to continue playing my Nintendo DS without any one of you nagging me.” Dongho sheepishly smiled, gaining a whack on his arm by Kevin.

“How could you!? Studies are important to a high school kid like you!” Kevin chided with a frown.

“But you stopped school at fifteen.” Dongho mumbled, gaining another whack from Kibum, who had to reach over Kevin to do so.

“If Kevin was a tad bit better at Korean, he wouldn’t.” Kibum glared at Dongho intensely, causing Dongho to cower in fear.

“I miss school.” Kevin suddenly commented, sighing. “All right, work harder, okay?”

“Mm.” Dongho nodded, gaining a pat on the head.

Eli suddenly let go of his grip around Kiseop’s waist, sitting up and clearing his throat. “Er, you all would forgive me, right?”

Kiseop turned to frown at Eli. “Even me! How could you!”

“Sorry! I’m really sorry!” Eli apologised, and Soohyun motioned for him to speak. “I, uh, added extra chilli in everyone else’s soup and side dishes just because I wanted to see you all cry.”

“OH MY GOODNESS ME! YOU DID THAT?!” Alexander shrieked, causing everyone to instinctively cover their ears. “My tummy hurt so bad the next day! I hate you, Eli!”

“Sorry…” Eli guiltily looked away, gaining hits on his arm by his very own boyfriend. “Sorry, baby.”

“Don’t you try!” Kiseop looked away and gave Eli’s leg a kick under the table.

“But you HAVE to forgive me! Xander-hyung says so!” Eli pointed at the oldest member, who was bewildered at the sudden responsibility.

“That’s right. That’s to encourage all of you to speak the truth, everyone must forgive every other person.” Alexander nodded, and Kiseop sighed, before resting his head back on Eli’s shoulder.

Eli mouthed his thanks to Alexander, who waved it away. “Next!”

“Must it be a group apology? I have an apology to only one member.” Kevin suddenly sat up very straight, worrying his lower lip, not daring to look at anyone.

“Yes, sure. Go on, Kev.” Alexander nodded.

“I, uh…Kibummie-hyung! Sorry! I stole your newest PiroPiro bolster because it was soooooo cute!” Kevin apologised, eyes shut tight for whatever punishment that was coming his way. “I shouldn’t have stolen it, but you wouldn’t lend me!”

“…” Kibum glared at Kevin but shook his head. “That’s nothing much, forget it.”

“Uh…but I stole your laptop for a day to play that game that takes forever to download too…” Kevin looked sideways, away from Kibum in guilt.

“Well, it’s only for a day.” Kibum shrugged.

“And I, uh, was the one that caused it to have virus because I REALLY DIDN’T KNOW! THERE’S THIS POP-UP THAT SAID I WON A TRIP TO DISNEYLAND AND YOU KNOW I LOVE DISNEYLAND AND THEN THE LAPTOP JUST SHUT DOWN AND I CAN’T TURN IT ON ANYMORE!” Kevin cried, hugging Dongho for comfort.

Kibum’s eyebrows twitched. “It’s all repaired now.”

“So you’ll forgive me?” Kevin smiled prettily, and Kibum nodded. “Good! Because I, er, was the one that messed up your room the other day…”

“…”

“Forgive him.” Soohyun piped in, finding the whole confession thing beyond amusing right now.

“Yeah, do that.” Eli encouraged, grinning at how it was becoming such a couple thing for the two of them.

“Okay, fine. Yes, I cleared your mess. Forget it.”

“And I stole your diary…” Kevin trailed off, hugging Dongho tighter. The poor boy was hardly breathing anymore.

“YOU DID?!” Kibum stood up abruptly, causing his chair to fall back on the floor.

“I’m sorry! The cover page was so cute and I wanted to read some of the-”

“WHAT THE HECK DID YOU READ?!” Kibum yelled.

“Oh, Kibum-hyung has a diary!” Kiseop picked out, amused. “Wow, so sentimental.”

“Shut up.” Kibum turned to glare at Kiseop. Eli protectively put his other arm around Kiseop.

“I didn’t read anything!” Kevin cried. “I felt bad so I put it back…”

Kibum let out a deep breath and sat back down. “Okay, fine.”

“Although I did read about the one where you saw me in XING and called me the “very white and very young member”.” Kevin giggled.

Kibum managed a smile.

“And I stole-”

Kibum hit the table loudly, shaking his head. “Kevin, I think it’s better if I don’t know them at all.”

Alexander bit his nails, considering the situation, nodding. “Yeah, I think you steal a lot of meaningless things too.”

“Oh, but there’s one that’s not so meaningless, all right?” Dongho joined in. “Hyung, mind loosening your grip?”

“Oh, sorry, Dongho.” Kevin giggled sheepishly. “I was scared.”

“Continue, Dongho.” Soohyun grinned, interested.

“Kibum-hyung will forgive Kevin-hyung for anything because he stole something really important to Kibum-hyung.” Dongho smirked.

“Why would I forgive him because he stole something important.” Kibum glared at Dongho, showing that he doesn’t make sense.

“Well, he stole your heart.”

Kibum blinked and Kevin looked fascinated. “I did? Where did I keep it?”

“OH EM GEE, KEVIN YOU’RE AN IDIOT.” Eli and Kiseop yelled, and the other three member repeated in agreement.

“Why am I an idiot?” Kevin started crying for real, finding comfort in the only member that didn’t call him an idiot. “Kibummie-hyung, why am I an idiot?”

“You’re not an idiot.” Kibum said stiffly, feeling weird because his feelings had been exposed, but not really. He stood up and helped Kevin up, leading him away into Kevin’s room. “Don’t bother about this meaningless thing anymore.”

“It’s not meaningless!” Alexander pouted sadly.

“It’s only meaningless because he didn’t get a proper reply.” Soohyun laughed. “Hey, someone continue!”

Dongho bites his lower lip. “Uh, this isn’t a good idea, but I lied. I, uh…broke your favourite camera, Kiseop-hyung!”

“WHAT?!” Dongho yelped before running away, with a very angry Kiseop behind. “THAT’S MY FAVOURITE!”

“EXACTLY! THAT’S WHY I DIDN’T TELL YOU! STUPID XANDER-HYUNG, WHY DID YOU COME UP WITH SUCH A DAY!” Dongho cried, running around the room.

Alexander looked sadly at Soohyun, who shook his head and gave the older member a comforting hug.

Eli sighed and stopped Kiseop by holding him back. “He apologised.”

Kiseop and Dongho paused in their positions. “He…did n-”

“I’m sorry!” Dongho quickly said, and Kiseop visibly calmed down. “But uh, Eli-hyung?”

“Yeah?”

“I…was the one who threw the dirty laundry into the washing machine and that’s why your white shirt got stained red.”

Eli’s eyebrows twitched. “SHIN DONGHO!”

“I’M SORRY!” Dongho yelled back. “You guys made me do the laundry!”

Eli and Kiseop looked at each other and nodded. The two started chasing Dongho, which meant out of the house. The three probably ran out to the streets already. One for shelter, two for murder.

“Left with us.” Soohyun said awkwardly. “All right, I apologise for leading the whole group astray. But they’re all curious young men who want to watch porn.”

“…” Alexander glared at Soohyun but kept quiet. “I’m sorry for telling Kevin to bring them out for me to throw.”

Soohyun kept silent for a second, before the impact of the words hit him. “YOU DID?!”

“KEVIN DID!”

“YOU TOLD HIM TO!”

“Well, yes…but…only he would listen to me!” Alexander said as some kind of explanation. “And I don’t know where you hide your CDs. Kibum tells him.”

“Stupid Kibum…” Soohyun cursed, face obviously displeased.

“And…I synced in my favourite songs into your iPod.” Alexander scratched his head, feeling itchy all over.

“No wonder I don’t understand them! I thought Kevin was the one.” Soohyun frowned.

“Oh, then I shouldn’t have confessed then.” Alexander sighed in regret. “Eh, but I must.”

“Why did you do that anyway?” Soohyun raised an eyebrow. “You could have sync it in other’s iPod, and you’re not as cheeky as Kibum.”

“Uh, because I want to hear you sing them?” Alexander said like it was obvious.

“Oh, okay, then I don’t mind.” Soohyun grinned, suddenly singing high notes that didn’t link.

Alexander rolled his eyes. “When I said sing, I meant proper songs.”

“All right, next time.” Soohyun promised.“Uh, and I confess. I take funny pictures of you when you’re asleep.”

Alexander blinked before reaching to find Soohyun’s phone. “YOU DO?! YAH! DELETE THEM!”

“NO! They’re precious!” Soohyun insisted.

“How are they precious! I don’t see you doing this to other members!” Alexander tried attacking Soohyun’s pocket, but the younger male managed to fight away his hands.

“I do it to Dongho too…”

“What about the others?!” Alexander sat akimbo, pout very obvious.

“Uh, Eli and Kiseop, Kevin and Kibum. Couple, couple, you know? I touch any of them, I probably get murdered.” Soohyun slightly shuddered at the thought.

Alexander pondered on Soohyun’s words “Hmm? You can touch Kibum…”

“Kevin has a very jealous side that he doesn’t know exist. He just stares at me blankly and it freaks me out. A lot.” Soohyun shook his head furiously.

“Oh, that very blank one with no emotions?” Alexander clapped his hands together, recognising the expression Soohyun described.

“Yes, that one!” Soohyun nodded.

“Okay, point taken. No! What am I talking about! Delete them!” Alexander started attacking again.

“Wait! Since we’re on the confessing thing!” Soohyun called out, holding out a hand for Alexander to pause.

“Yes?”

“I…I’m sorry.”

“What did you do now?” Alexander facepalmed. “Maybe I shouldn’t have created this thing.”

“You aren’t the best at Korean, I should have helped you with dealing with the kids.” Soohyun sighed regretfully.

“Well, I can’t help that I’m old.” Alexander joked. “Oh wow, it’s not something for me to be angry about!”

“They laugh at you for horrible Korean. Especially Kibum.” Soohyun shook his head. “Bad kids.”

“I laugh at him for being too nice to Kevin.” Alexander shrugged.

“Still, I shouldn’t have left you as a damsel in distress. Kevin’s evil to you too.”

“Cheesecake’s mildly evil, besides, I feel bad that I don’t seem to talk to you a lot.” Alexander commented, remembering that he hardly nagged at Soohyun.

“Yeah, you don’t.” Soohyun pouted. “I need tender loving care too!”

“Well, you work well on your own, like how Kiseop survives and adapts quickly. Blood type A thing, I guess.” Alexander patted Soohyun’s head in a motherly way. “It’s a good thing.”

“Oh, and having to deal with Dongho is just about the worst thing on Earth. That brat takes revenge in the worst ways. He only confessed to Eli and Kiseop, we don’t know what he did to us.” Soohyun added on.

“Oh yeah, that brat.” Alexander agreed wholeheartedly.

“OH MAN! OH GOODNESS! OH EARTH!” Kevin exclaimed, pacing around Alexander and Soohyun’s back, since the both of them were still sitting.

“Kev, what’s wrong?” Alexander asked, turning back, exchanging amused looks with Soohyun.

“Kibummie-hyung confessed to me!” Kevin gasped at his own words, clasping a hand over his mouth.

“That’s what we’re all doing right now.” Soohyun blinked.

Alexander whacked his head. “Kevin means the love love confessing thing, yes?”

“YES! HE CONFESSED TO ME!” Kevin nodded, before widening his eyes. “OH GOODNESS ME! I LEFT HIM THERE! WAIT FOR ME, KIBUMMIE-HYUNG, I’M COMING BACK!”

“Kevin’s weird.” Soohyun blinked at Kevin running back from where he appeared.

“He’s just confused. Tsk!” Alexander frowned at Soohyun’s comment.

“Well, why don’t you teach him how to react to such situations? Since you both are like best friends?” Soohyun smirked, suddenly leaning closer.

“What do you mean?” Alexander leaned back slightly, uncomfortable with the distance.

“I love you.” A quick kiss on the lips.

Alexander widened his eyes, blinking them once, before smiling. “And because today is confession day, I love you too.”

“NOOOOOOOO! I WAS JUST CONFUSED, HYUNG I LOVE YOU TOOOOOOOOOOOO!” Kevin shouted sweetly. “Don’t cry, aww, I didn’t mean to just walk out~! I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you! Better?”

Soohyun chuckled, hands possessively coiling around a slim waist he can now label as his. “And I’ll sing you lullabies if you want, every, single, night.”

“The new year…”

“I’ll start it.” Soohyun smiled, staring into Alexander’s big brown eyes, hesitating a little. Shaking the thought away, he leaned closer to do what he had always been meaning to do.

Alexander blinked, instincts causing his eyes to flutter close. As Soohyun’s pair of lips fell on his, his hands clutched onto Soohyun’s shoulder, slightly nervous. Soohyun smiled, deepening the kiss before the two pulled away.

“With you.”
