"Why? Why did you do this to me?"

"I'm sorry! I'm really sorry!"

"Save it." He spat, bringing up his gun, aiming, and then pulling the trigger.

He jerked up, breaking out into cold sweat. Why, why was he experiencing this nightmare?

-

The seven of them moved in synchronized rhythm, bending their bodies and executing high-levelled moves with practised ease.

During the freestyle part of the dance, they had spotlights on every different member.

Kevin did a cute wink, somersaulting across the stage and thus revealing his milky white flat stomach.

Eli tore his shirt and threw it in a random direction, gaining wolf whistles from the audience.

Alexander did some waves against Soohyun while Kiseop worked the floor with smooth pelvic thrusts.

Dongho shook his bottom and slapped it once, grinning cutely when the crowd cheered.

Kevin then ran his hands down Kibum's body, giving him a quick peck on his cheeks.

They returned to their choreographed routine, seven of them moving as one. Soon after, the strong and amazing dance ended with a quick blackout.

In the dark, they trusted Kiseop to fish out his pistol and aim at where he remembered their target to be. Focusing, before pulling the trigger in the third second of the blackout, they heard a distinctive yelp in the midst of all the noise. Kiseop then shuffled his feet to signal to the team to go backstage.

-

"Did you hear? No one knew he was shot at first because apparently, he had been masturbating during our performance. Sick." Alexander made a disgusted face as he told his members of the newest news he heard from the audience’s mumblings.

"Seriously? So they thought he just came?" Eli choked on his laughter, clutching his aching stomach. "Epic!"

"It's sick!" Dongho groaned, whacking Eli's head despite the latter being older. Eli stood akimbo and strangled Dongho jokingly with his muscular arms. Soohyun and Kiseop tried to pull them apart, not knowing the two were fooling around.

Kevin ignored the noise and plainly leaned back against Kibum's chest, letting Kibum nuzzle against his neck, hands massaging his back. "I need to come up with something else, somersaulting annoyingly strains my back."

"We need to try new sex positions then. You're the innocent sweet image of our group, no naughty moves for you." Kibum whispered, nibbling softly on Kevin's ear.

"Do you have any idea what you just said?" Kevin giggled, turning around to bury his head between Kibum's neck and shoulder, biting down gently on the exposed skin. "I want to touch you more."

"Later. After we get our pay, we'll book a presidential suite and I'll let you do whatever you want." Kibum chuckled, hand sneaking under Kevin's shirt to pinch his left nipple. Kevin moaned softly, rubbing himself against Kibum. "I said not now."

"Then don't touch me like that. My self-control just crumbles." Kevin whimpered, disappointingly pouted when Kibum pulled away.

-

Kevin couldn't even tell where they were. Kibum had no concept of privacy at all, unbuttoning Kevin's shirt and unbuckling both their belts while mashing their lips desperately together, in a hotel's lift.

Stumbling out of the lift as they reached the right level, Kibum pushed Kevin to the nearest wall while grinding their erections against each other. Kevin moaned loudly, tugging on Kibum's shirt.

"Take it-" Kevin's breath hitched as Kibum bit his collarbone, his fingers still weakly holding onto Kibum's shirt. "Off."

Kibum complied with a grunt, swiftly bringing his shirt over his head and then rolling it into a ball with Kevin's shirt, passing it to Kevin. He kept Kevin moving along the wall, eyes sometimes looking around to check for their room. It was the first one they came across, and Kibum randomly swiped the card he was given. He probably didn't need the card though, since he got annoyed with the faulty sensor and shot the lock with his personal handgun in the end.

Kicking the door open, he placed the card into the holder, causing the lights to switch on, air conditioner to start working. Kevin brought the "Do Not Disturb" sign to the outer side of the knob blindly, closing the door with his leg though it can no longer be locked.

Kibum then pushed Kevin’s head towards the wall, lips still passionately locked.

"Against...the wall." Kevin panted, tossing the shirts away and then weaving his long, slim fingers into Kibum's soft locks of hair. "Fuck me already."

Kibum decided Kevin talked too much, and he let the younger one pull away for a little too long. He licked the younger's lips while his hands wandered southwards, unzipping Kevin's jeans. They, along with Kevin's briefs, slid down Kevin's thin thighs easily. Kibum kicked them away the second Kevin stepped out of them.

"Wait, I needa lock my gun." Kibum gave Kevin a quick kiss, locking the trigger before throwing it a side. Kevin crashed their lips back together again, stripping Kibum carelessly, kicking his shoes off at the same time while Kibum pumped his erection. Kibum used his other hand to fling his pair of branded shoes to the other side of the large room.

Getting his offending pair of jeans and boxers off him, Kibum turned both of them around and pushed Kevin's head down. "I don't have lube, we'll settle for saliva."

Kevin didn't even bother about Kibum's words, taking the feast before his eyes into his mouth hurriedly. He drew random patterns along Kibum’s length with his tongue and let out a muffled moan when Kibum started thrusting into his mouth. Kibum used all his self-control to grab Kevin’s head back up, lifting his weight by holding him up against the wall. Kevin’s legs tightened around Kibum’s waist, fingers digging into Kibum’s muscular arms as Kibum entered him without a warning.

“Hyunggg!” Kevin groaned, tightening around Kibum’s member. “Move…”

“Already?” Kibum asked, though capturing Kevin’s mouth the next second, obviously not interested in the answer. He held Kevin’s hips and started thrusting upwards, smirking when Kevin threw his head back instinctively, mewling beautifully.

“Ag-”

“I know.” Kibum continued pounding his throbbing member towards Kevin’s sensitive spot, gaining himself more fresh bruises on his arms. Grabbing hold of Kevin’s member dripping with pre-cum, Kibum pumped it irregularly. Along with his thrusts, he was making Kevin reach a new high, though obviously they reached that level during their previous sessions of love-making.

Kevin pressed his back against the wall with all his strength, shaking his head slowly but surely. “Finish me off on the bed. M-My back hurts.”

Kibum then threw Kevin on bed, quickly climbing up the same bed and re-entering Kevin. Pulling out his member till only the tip was in Kevin before slamming back into the younger male, Kibum groaned, steadily reaching his climax.

“Hyunggg…” Kevin whined, his chest heaved as he fought to catch his breath.

Kibum grunted a reply, knowing Kevin’s problem. He squeezed the younger’s erection before moving his hand up and down the length in an insane speed, causing Kevin’s sensitive skin to burn from the friction.

But neither cares, as Kevin came in Kibum’s hand, sensation causing him to clench tightly around Kibum’s member. That pushed Kibum over the edge, only needing a few short thrusts to release his warm load inside Kevin. Kibum tiredly rode out of the younger boy, falling flat on Kevin the next second.

“I’m dead tired.” Kibum muttered against Kevin’s chest, breathing slowly returning to its regular rhythm.

Kevin chose to smile dreamily, not minding the weight on him, hands embracing Kibum’s naked body. His ragged breathing noise softens, eyes closing as unconsciousness stole him away from reality’s grasp.

-

Kevin clung onto Kibum’s arm, ignoring the rolling of eyes his members gave him. He giggled, leaning his head against Kibum’s shoulder.

“1 new message.”

Kevin quickly scanned through the message and cursed.

“What’s wrong?” Kibum blinked, slightly surprised by Kevin’s instant change of mood.

“Nothing.” Kevin smiled, unhooking his arms with Kibum. “I need to go to the toilet.”

“Can’t it wait? Kev, we’re on a mission.” Soohyun frowned, while Alexander looked around for a toilet.

“It’s okay, I think we still have time.” Alexander pointed at a nearby male toilet, smiling encouragingly. “Go, be quick.”

“Thanks, hyung.” Kevin grinned, running off.

Soohyun sighed, staring at the door they expect their target to exit from. Dongho was consulting Alexander about some mathematical problem he doesn’t know how to solve, while Eli started eavesdropping on Kibum’s and Kiseop’s conversation because there was a lack of something better to do.

“What? Why me? Hasn’t it always been you?” Kibum shook his head firmly. “You’re going to seduce him, not me. I’m just not the right material. I can just stand aside while you six do the job.”

“I’ve been training you for so long.” Kiseop sighed. “Can you stop being wishy-washy and actually show Kevin that what we’re doing is not cheating behind his back? I feel his glares getting more and more intense. Besides, the boss’s the easiest target. The five bodyguards are the tricky ones.”

“But-” Kibum got cut off with Kiseop attacking his mouth, and a tap on his bottom from Kiseop signalled to him that he would have to treat Kiseop like their target.

Kibum did, turning around and pinning Kiseop towards the wall they were standing beside a moment ago. Kibum’s hand then covered Kiseop’s eyes, an action that he had learnt to be stopping your target from knowing who you are since the face wouldn’t stay in one’s long term memory in such a short time. Sucking on Kiseop’s lips while his hand sneaked into the younger’s jeans to grope carelessly, his job was done when Kiseop stopped struggling, resolve to fight Kibum’s advances away all gone. Eli moved towards the other three and left the duo in their training.

“St-Stop, you’re making me want to-” Kiseop gasped, biting Kibum’s collarbone hard.

Kevin shrieked at the scene when he returned, running off in a random direction to get his head off his boyfriend giving his fellow teammate a handjob.

“Oh, God.” Kibum retrieved his hand and ran towards where he last saw Kevin’s legs. Kiseop was too caught up with his own problem to care about the couple.

“I told you to stop training him in such inappropriate ways!” Alexander chided, turning Dongho’s head away. “Stop it! You’re too young to see such things!”

“Tch, he’s just masturbating, what’s wrong?” Dongho rolled his eyes, though not intending to watch Kiseop deal with his problem. “Kibum-hyung got too caught up in touching Kiseop-hyung?”

“He’s probably just trying to do the full thing, he’s been trying to get better.” Kiseop panted, while Eli raised an eyebrow.

“So what do we do now? What if the target just comes out like that?” Soohyun groaned. “I knew we shouldn’t have approved them to be a couple. Such things are stupid.”

“You wouldn’t have been able to stop them, anyway.” Eli shrugged, kissing Kiseop fiercely, hoping he’d quickly finish his problem. Kiseop was a turn on, something everyone had to agree. Him doing something like that in a secluded corridor wasn’t helping Eli try to stop himself.

-

“Kevin!” Kibum shouted, not bothering that they might get discovered.

Kevin ran, stopping only when he unfortunately reached a dead end.

“Kevin, Kevin!” Kibum yelled as he hugged Kevin tight in his arms, hoping the younger would stop struggling.

“Stop calling me like that!” Kevin bit Kibum’s arm, thinking it would loosen Kibum’s vise-like grip around him. “Stop calling me if you’re touching another man…Stop calling me like I actually matter…”

“You do, you matter.” Kibum softly said, slowly letting Kevin breathe properly by loosening his embrace. “You matter the world to me, or else I wouldn’t run after you with our mission undone.”

Kevin pushed Kibum away, much to Kibum’s surprise. “Stop using your cheesy words on me too! Go back and finish the mission, I need time alone.”

“I’m not leaving y-” Kibum paused in his word and screamed, grabbing his leg while cursing excessively.

Kevin looked around to see someone holding a gun, running away when their eyes locked. He wanted to run after that idiot and kill him personally, but Kibum gritting his teeth while trying to stop the blood with his own hand made him stayed to slap the older man.

“Idiot!” Kevin dropped to his knees, taking off his jacket to put over Kibum’s wound, hoping to stop the blood. “I told you to leave! See what happens when you don’t listen?!”

“I can’t leave you. What if it was you who got hurt?” Kibum weakly stated, all strength used on cursing, leaving him struggling to keep his eyes open.

"God, Kibummie-hyung, are you with me?" Kevin cried, shaking Kibum violently.

"Gently." Kibum said breathlessly. "It's just my leg, nothing much. I can probably get amputated if it proves to be the worst case. I won't die."

Kevin cradled Kibum head in his arms and shook his head, tears streaming down endlessly. "No, no! I won't allow you to amputate your leg! This is all my fault!"

"Kevin, don't be an idiot. You signed up for this crap knowing we might die in our missions. It's a game where the strongest survives, amputation isn't all that bad considering I'll still be alive." Kibum gasped as he tried to move his leg, the sharp excruciating pain affecting his thoughts.

"I won't let that happen! Let me carry you, we'll rush you to the hospital." Kevin carefully helped Kibum up, forcing himself to stop crying. He roughly wiped them away, biting down painfully on his lower lip till it bled slightly. He couldn't crumble, he had to be strong. For Kibum who got his leg hurt because of him, for Kibum who was whimpering defencelessly right now.

-

Kibum sat up with such a jerk, making his head hurt badly. Allowing himself a few seconds to adjust his sight and rub his temples, he then opened his eyes and looked around.

"Kev?" Kibum called out, sounding weaker than he intended to sound. He cleared his throat and called for the beautiful male sleeping peacefully on the sofa opposite his bed again.

Kevin stirred slightly, rubbing his eyes with a yawn before opening them wide. At the sight of Kibum staring at him, he jumped up and ran to the older male. "Are you better?! They gave you painkillers after your surgery. The bullet is gone but you need to rest well to fully recover."

"Kev, where are the rest?" Kibum frowned. "You brought me to the hospital, what about our mission?"

Kevin bit his bruised lip, looking away, mumbling that he would go get some fresh fruits to aid in Kibum's recovery. Kibum reached out to catch Kevin's wrist, cussing loudly when a jolt of pain hit him.

"Kev." Kibum gripped tightly around Kevin's wrist, causing his fingers to turn red.

"It's...it's all ruined." Kevin wailed, hugging Kibum tightly. "This is all my fault! I shouldn't have been so selfish! But-But I can't stand you and Ki-"

Kibum ravished Kevin's lips roughly, clutching Kevin's arms till they felt numb. He then brought the younger male to fall on him before pinning him down on bed, biting Kevin's lips. The action reopened Kevin's previous wound and even left a few more. Kibum then trailed down Kevin's neck while leaving strong bruising bites, only stopping when he felt breathless, when Kevin starts to cry out because of the pain and not the amazing feeling of being marked.

"Is that enough? Can you stop being annoyingly jealous already?" Kibum growled. "Kiseop's our best undercover, I'm learning from him, not loving him."

"How about all the hugs and kisses?" Kevin screamed, getting off Kibum's bed. "And your hand in his pants?! You don't even care that I exist!"

"Idiot. Our job is to seduce! He's giving me tricks! Not everyone is like you, Kiseop and Dongho. I'm not pretty or cute enough to properly seduce those rubbish out there, I need tricks! Soohyun-hyung has his voice, Xander-hyung's friendliness lets anyone's guard down. Eli fucks anyone out there. You want me to have sex with someone else?" Kibum threw his pillow towards Kevin, yelling for him to stop crying.

"Can't you learn from me or something?! Why must he do it anyway? Can't he just say them?!" Kevin caught the pillow and threw it back, falling onto his knees, defying Kibum's command to shut up.

"Let's face it, Kev." Kibum quietened down, voice calm. "You're the worst undercover in our group."

Kevin looked up with his tear stained face, bewildered. "They want to RAPE me! I refuse and I'm the worst undercover?! Just because I don't let just anyone to fuck me, I'm the worst?"

"It's not that." Kibum sighed. "You can't aim your gun properly, your emotions cloud your thoughts too easily and you don't harden your heart at all. Even without me, the plan today could have gone on if you took my place. But no, you had to bring me to the hospital even if you knew I wouldn't die."

"What do I do?!" Kevin slapped Kibum twice as he got up from the floor, crashing his bloody lips against Kibum's. "What do I do if I love you so freaking much?!"

"Kevin, no. Let's break up." Kibum shook his head and pushed Kevin away. "Or else, quit. You're not capable of this job if you're driven by emotions."

"I'll show you." Kevin firmly stated. "Rest well, I'll show you what I can do without you distracting me."

-

"How is he?" Kibum asked, watching as everyone but Kevin entered his room.

"He's working really hard all right, but also more reckless. He doesn't care about his life nor his disguise. He walked up to them, greets them then stabs them or shoots them to death." Kiseop informed, sighing. "He wouldn't listen to us."

"Kevin's horribly different. What did you tell him exactly?" Alexander furrowed his eyebrows worriedly, patting Kibum's leg. "You better?"

"I'll leave next week." Kibum nodded. "Can you guys bring him to me soon?"

Soohyun nodded, promising Kibum before announcing that Dongho had school to attend. "I'll send him there, you guys stay and chat."

"Something to say though, he's been awfully busy these days, saying he's been here to see you. You haven't seen him at all?" Eli quietly stated, causing everyone to turn to him.

"I haven't seen him since the day I was hospitalised." Kibum honestly said. "I'll ask him, don't think too much about it."

-

"I had plans, I didn't want them to interfere. Surely you believe me, right?" Kevin asked with hopeful eyes.

"What plans?" Kibum asked gently, skipping the question about trust.

"Our boss, he saw my improvement and gave me solo missions that doesn't require the whole group. It's less suspicious." Kevin explained, holding up a piece of apple before Kibum's mouth.

"Not Kiseop?" Kibum's eyebrows twitched. Their boss usually never does such a thing, the only reason why the team was formed. To work as one. Even if there was only a target, to work as one.

"Hyung! I'm the best right now! Best! Me! Stop thinking about him!" Kevin shrieked, throwing the apple in Kibum's face. He stomped off, but Kibum’s leg was getting better and thus he gave chase to the younger boy, catching him with an embrace.

“Don’t…don’t keep saying his name.” Kevin shivered as he drew shaky breaths, turning around to cry on Kibum’s shoulder. “I’m jealous, so freaking jealous of him when you think he’s the best.

“You’re the best in my eyes, silly.” Kibum gently whispered, rocking Kevin side-to-side to calm him down. “He’s just the best in the world’s eyes. But I love you, not him.”

“I don’t care, I don’t want to hear those words from you.” Kevin sobbed.

“All right, I won’t say it again.” Kibum patted Kevin’s back twice and slowly pulled away, kissing Kevin’s cheeks softly. “Better?”

“Yeah…” Kevin tried smiling. “I-Why don’t you see me in action? Tomorrow night, Seoul Olympic Stadium.”

“I’ll be there.” Kibum promised, kissing Kevin full on the lips, letting his lips show how dearly he missed the younger male during the time he hadn’t seen him.

-

Kevin stiffened at the scene before him. He broke a rule already, and now it’s totally wrong.

“Hey, Kev.” Kibum grinned, kissing Kevin as a greeting. He frowned when the younger one just stared at him. “Yes?”

“Why-why are they here?” Kevin stared at his other members. Dongho and Alexander were holding fan boards even.

“It’s all right.” Soohyun massaged his shoulders reassuringly while cracking a joke. “We will support you fully even if you’ve solo missions. We aren’t jealous.”

“Yeah, it’s good that you’re improving so much.” Eli nodded, nudging Kiseop to say something. Kiseop was their best, if he praised Kevin, Kevin would have to feel better no matter what.

“Don’t be reckless though.” Kiseop warned gently with a smile, not realising Kevin’s glare on him.

“All right, Kev.” Kibum also missed the look, only seeing the younger’s smile as he turned. “We’ll be cheering for you, so do your best. I’ll go get popcorns to enjoy the show, okay? Who’s going with me?”

“I’ll go.” Kiseop offered. “Eli, could you get the drinks? Soohyun-hyung, bring Xander-hyung and Dongho to the seats. They’re dumb.”

Kiseop’s joke caused Alexander and Dongho to whine in protest, flailing even as Soohyun pushed them towards the audience seats.

“Break a leg.” Eli smiled, leaving after giving Kevin a quick hug.

“I will.” Kevin coldly said, staring at Kiseop linking arms with Kibum, skipping away. The slightly older male didn’t even tried to pull away, happily chatting as if nothing was wrong.

Oh yeah, he surely wanted to break someone’s leg right now.

-

Kevin twirled the gun in his hands, familiarising himself with the moves.

“You can choose, you know.” His backup dancer informed, holding him a case with three guns. “A revolver might be safer.”

“No.” Revolver reloads slowly, I need a quick one. Kevin glared at the dancer, though stopping the dancer from keeping the case. “But I’ll keep my gun. My fri- other team might suspect.”

The dancer eyed him a little, but Kevin was on a higher rank than he is. He kept quiet, watching as Kevin kept his gun in his back pocket and took a silver semi-automatic pistol from the case. “It’s not loaded.”

“Fuck you!” Kevin snarled. “We don’t have time, you idiot!”

The other dancer silently handed him bullets to load into the magazine cartridge. Kevin did so calmly, making sure there were no mistakes. He was out to show Kibum his change. He then unloaded the pistol, locked the slide to the rear before inserting the magazine into the bottom of the hand gun. He heard a soft “click”, which told him that the magazine was locked in place. He twirled the gun again, smirking.

Now, he’ll just have to do the show.

-

Kevin gave a beautiful smile, shouting sweetly for the audience to cheer loudly for him. The host for the show saw what he was trying to do, thus walking towards him and offering him the microphone. Kevin then bowed politely and thanked the man, asking for the crowd to cheer loudly during his performance again.

The audience screamed, promising to chant his name. He gave them a cute wink as fan service, eyes searching for his boyfriend.

“Look, he has a gun.” Kiseop frowned, nudging Kibum beside him.

“Probably part of the show, don’t worry too much. It’s not his personal one, remember?” Kibum patted Kiseop’s thighs, smiling. “I’m sure-”

“Kibum-hyung, you don’t get it. I told you, he rarely disguises himself anymore.” Kiseop sat forward on his seat, voice overflowing with worry.

Kevin saw the two engaging in a conversation, eyes looking at each other and no one else. He clenched his empty hand into a tight fist, giving them one last look before turning around.

The beats came in before the actual tune, and Kevin did a half spin to face the audience again, face expressionless. He and his two backup dancers performed their choreography as practised, moves synchronised.

At where he remembered his members were seating, he saw Alexander and Dongho waving their poorly made fan board enthusiastically. He smirked, throwing his head to his left before moving it clockwise, hands running down his body.

He spun the gun thrice, throwing it into the air before catching it, and then placing it (along with the dancer’s handguns) on the floor while the three of them did some across the floor movements. The spotlight on him, the main dancer, followed as he slid across the stage. They stood up, leaving the guns on the floor as they continued their dance routine.

Along with the loud beat and the planned blackout, the three fell to the floor purposely into push-up positions. Grabbing their gun and then giving the floor a strong push, they stood up as the lights switched on. They then continued executing the moves, every action precise and tight.

The crowd was deafening by the time the track was about to end, and Kevin struggled to hear the music. He smirked at his target, hands clasped around the gun’s body with his right index finger on the trigger, thumb pressing the gun forward in case it jerks back when he shoots. Not far away from his target was Kiseop whispering something to Kibum.

That was it.

He pulled the slide on the silver pistol back with his left hand, letting the slide slam forward, sound amplified by the background music. The lights were flickering by now, emphasising that the climax was reaching. Quickly holding onto the gun with his left hand too, he aimed and pulled the trigger.

No one seemed to realise he really did kill, only squealing at how cool he looked.

He reloaded the gun, eyes shifting to Kiseop’s frowning face before wiping that worry off his beautiful face with a second shot.

The stage lights then all switched off, as the dance track stopped after the second gunshot sound. Kevin strolled backstage casually, handing his gun to the nearest backup dancer.

-

Kibum frowned when he saw the gun being aimed at his direction. He widened his eyes when he heard a gasp beside him.

“Kiseop…Kiseop!” Kibum yelled, causing the members to all turn to the said member. “Did…did he shoot you?”

“Y-Yes.” Kiseop said weakly, hands clutching his heart.

Damn it, this is the time when Kibum hoped Kevin’s aim hadn’t got better. Soohyun beat him to reaching a decision, asking Eli to carry Kiseop to the hospital while shaking Kibum lightly.

“I don’t know what got into him, but he’s a changed person.” Soohyun sighed. “He has been showing the signs, he probably isn’t the Kevin you love.”

Kibum bit his tongue, standing up calmly and heading to where he knew Kevin would be. Soohyun tried to get Alexander and Dongho to move, but the two were in a dazed condition.

“What just happened?”

-

“Kevin.” Kibum repeated, noticing the younger male’s stiffness. He hadn’t move since he realised Kibum’s presence.

“Kevin.” An unfamiliar voice called out this time, as if unfreezing Kevin. Kevin then dropped his head and dragged his feet, walking towards an ugly middle-aged man with awful yellow teeth showing as he smiled triumphantly. “Good job, you finally killed him.”

“You’ve been planning Kiseop’s death?!” Kibum widened his eyes and yelled, rushing towards Kevin.

Five guns were raised and aimed at Kibum, successfully stopping him from reaching Kevin.

“NO!” Kevin screamed, glaring at the five bodyguards. “Don’t you dare.”

“Well, well, the perfect boyfriend is trying to save his man, huh? You might want to see the hatred in his eyes, Kevin.” The grease in the old man’s voice was getting on Kibum’s nerves. And the way he called Kevin.

Kevin refused to look back into Kibum’s eyes, only making sure the guns were kept. “I’ve done my job, leave me alone.”

“Till the next mission then, sweetie.” The old man cackled evilly, forcing a kiss on Kevin’s cheeks. Kevin gave the old man’s private part a powerful kick, causing the same five guns to be aimed at him.

“Kill me if you dare.” Kevin loaded his own gun and sent a man - the one that shot Kibum’s leg - falling to the ground lifelessly.

“Don’t.” The man whimpered, grabbing his private part obscenely, trying to ease the pain. “We’ll leave, fearless kitten. We’ll leave. But remember the rules.”

The remaining four bodyguards helped their boss up, walking away silently with him in tow. Kevin stood in silence, waiting for their car to drive away before heading to the exit.

“Kevin.” Soohyun said this time, with Alexander and Dongho staring at the dead body.

“Is he on the target list?” Alexander whispered, which Dongho shook his head slighty, frightened, as a reply.

Kevin sighed, turning around, walking towards the group.

Kibum eyed Kevin, kicking the back of his knees so he fell to the floor on all fours. He locked Kevin’s both arms and fished for any weapons in his clothes, only finding Kevin’s personal gun which he recognised, before throwing it towards Soohyun.

-

“Relax. He doesn’t have any guns, I’m the one controlling.” Kibum coldly muttered as soon as he threw Kevin inside an empty room in the backstage and walked in. “Leave us.”

None of the members budged, and Soohyun’s handphone rang in the deafening silence, causing Soohyun to pick it up after three rings. After some mumblings. Soohyun ended the call and looked back up at Kibum’s back.

“Kibum…I know you love Kevin, but he…he killed Kiseop. Kiseop’s announced dead, with the bullet bursting his main artery.” Soohyun bit his lips, dragging Dongho and Alexander with him. Alexander was sobbing breathlessly, unable to believe Kevin’s betrayal and Kiseop’s death. Dongho was stunned, not having any reaction other than staring blankly, letting the impact of Kiseop’s death slowly sink in. “You don’t have to kill him, but…”

“Don’t worry guys, I’d take revenge for Kiseop.” Kibum shot a nearby mirror as if checking if his gun worked. “I’d take revenge for Kiseop.”

“Kevin doesn’t have to die!” Alexander cried out, hugging Dongho weakly as he was being dragged out. “Why must we kill each other?”

“Xander-hyung, he isn’t Kevin. Or at least not the Kevin we knew.” Soohyun mumbled, closing the door as soon as the three of them were out of the room..

“Kill me! I don’t deserve to live.” Kevin yelled, staring at the floor around him, not daring to look back up into Kibum’s eyes like before.

“So everything, was a freaking lie?” Kibum calmly asked, lifting Kevin’s chin to get Kevin to face him. “All the hugs, kisses and even the countless sex.”

Kevin’s tears fell down the side of his eyes while shrieking. “No! No! I really love you, I really do! I wouldn’t kill Kiseop if you didn’t-”

Kibum kicked Kevin ruthlessly towards the wall, causing the younger to cough out blood. “How many were there?”

“Who were where?” Kevin questioned back with a frown etched on his face, thumb wiping the blood off his mouth weakly. He wasn’t even trying to fight for his life.

“Sex. How many guys have you had sex with?” Kibum grabbed Kevin’s collar and pulled him up from the floor, his arm pressing Kevin’s neck against the wall, suffocating him.

“N-None but you.” Kevin coughed violently, crying but not struggling. “Kill me if you want.”

"Why? Why did you do this to me?" Kibum whispered, fighting against his emotions. He loved this man so much, and no matter how much he wanted to think that his words were true, he just can’t. Killing off a fellow member diminished his trust to nothing already. He can’t let love cloud his thoughts like they did for- for-

Kevin.

Kevin who can’t control his emotions. Kevin who probably wasn’t really Kevin. The whole thing might just be an act.

"I'm sorry! I'm really sorry!" Kevin apologised profusely, hands brought up to arrange Kibum’s hair to frame that beautiful face perfectly. If he had to die, he wanted to see Kibum’s best face before he did. Kibum flinched at his touches that were barely touches, and Kevin couldn’t stop his tears.

Everything changed, because of one bullet.

"Save it." Kibum spat, taking three steps backwards.

Kevin tightly shut his eyes as Kibum started bringing up his gun, aiming, and then pulling the trigger. The pain he expected never came. He only heard flesh meeting concrete, opening his eyes to find Kibum on the floor, eyes wide.

“No! What the heck are you doing?” Kevin yelled, falling onto the floor to hug Kibum’s head tight. His shirt was starting to turn bloody around his heart area. “Why didn’t you kill me instead?!”

“My heart is useless.” Kibum struggled to speak, voice hardly a whisper. “It caused me this pain. I shouldn’t have loved you. As pathetic as this sounds, I can’t stop myself from loving y-”

Kevin felt his heart numb his senses. The words easily piercing daggers through his body, stealing his breaths. He loves Kibum, he really does. It was a contract he couldn’t not sign. The contract Kevin signed to protect Kibum, the contract that eventually caused Kibum’s death in his arms.

What could he do if Kibum’s mother was held captive?

He shook his head. No, no. He can’t just give up. Kibum might be able to keep alive. If-If…

Kevin carried Kibum on his back and rushed out of the room. His members were staring with wide eyes as he ran past them, with Alexander trying to stop Kevin.

“You actually killed him too!” Soohyun yelled. “Betrayer! BETRAYER!”

Kevin couldn’t stop his tears. Soohyun’s words were right. He was a betrayer. Why did he have to love Kibum? If he fought his love, if they never got together, Kibum wouldn’t commit suicide. He did, he did kill Kibum indirectly. He was a betrayer, he was a murderer.

Even after taking so many lives, including Kiseop’s, Kevin never thought he was a murderer. It just never felt real enough.

But Kibum, hanging loosely on his back, limbs without an ounce of strength. Kibum, each breath so weak Kevin didn’t know how long the older could last. Kibum, blood from the heart drenching his own shirt.

He was a murderer.

Hey Diary,

That idiot is still using Kibum’s mother as a threat. I had no idea we were targeting him today. Heck, if he didn’t send a message to tell me to save him, he should be dead by now. And he even tried to rape me today, what a thankful bastard. If only I knew where he was hiding her, I’d totally murder him for all that he had done. Poor auntie did nothing wrong.

And my dumb boyfriend, just why is he so innocent at times? Why doesn’t he ever question his mother’s “death”? That maybe she’s not dead yet because there’s no ashes nor body to prove it. If he asked, I’d break the rule and tell him everything. Otherwise, I’m just putting her life in danger.

Also…I had a quarrel with him today. Sort of, because we never really argued. Although I know he’s probably fooled by my façade, it annoys me when he says Kiseop’s the best. If I knew I’d be thrown into such a situation, fighting against my boyfriend for his own good, I wouldn’t have aimed my guns properly in the first place. Now I have to act as if I can’t shoot for my life. And since that old man wanted to be the best (even if it’s really me instead of him), he’s even asking me to kill Kiseop.

I wouldn’t. I’m inserting my dead serious tone in here. No matter what Kiseop’s doing with Kibummie-hyung, I wouldn’t. As long as his heart is with me, I’d die even if I have to keep Kiseop alive.

Yeah, well, bye.
Kevin.

"Why? Why did you do this to me?"

"I'm sorry! I'm really sorry!"

"Save it." He spat, bringing up his gun, aiming, and then pulling the trigger.

Kibum hated the dream. It kept haunting him, and the voice inside sounded so familiar. But no, it’s neither Xander-hyung’s, Soohyun-hyung’s, Eli nor Dongho’s voice.

Was it reality? Who’s that man? Did he kill someone?

“Hyung.” Dongho greeted with a forced smile, placing a fruit basket on Kibum’s hospital side table. “Feeling better?”

“No. I’m feeling really confused. I’m being haunted by this nightmare.” Kibum sighed, suddenly breaking out into a grin. “Why don’t you help me?”

“H-How?” Dongho asked stiffly, looking uncomfortable.

“Well, apparently, I asked why this man did “this” to me. He apologised in a desperate tone, and I told him to save it. Then I was holding a gun, and then I pulled the trigger, then darkness. Did I kill him?” Kibum asked, worried. “My head doesn’t have any images. It’s just voices, and it’s annoying me.”

“For-forget it.” Dongho bit his lower lip and shook his head. “Let me cut you some ap-”

“Dongho. You know something.” Kibum frowned. “Spit it.”

Alexander strolled in gloomily the next second, waving a little at Kibum. “Hello, are you better?”

“Dongho. Dongho knows something. Am I forgetting someone? Who did I kill? Why did I kill? Do I know him? Where is he now? Dead?” Kibum questioned Alexander instantly, growing more curious as Alexander glared at Dongho. “Don’t look at him like that, I was the one who asked.”

Alexander sighed, nodding. “There’s someone you need to see then.”

-

“He…he what?” Kibum dropped into his seat, hand caressing the beautiful face before him.

“He gave his heart to you.” Alexander bit his lower lip and fought his tears away. “You both…were in love. But you committed suicide because you couldn’t get yourself to kill him. So you killed yourself for being useless. He felt awful and begged the doctors’ to replace your heart with his, so you can live on without him in your life. He felt responsible for everything he put us through.”

“What…what did he do? Why do I have to kill him? Why would he be responsible for anything?” Kibum shook his head unconsciously, unable to comprehend. Since the male before him still had his brain, surgeons put him on a life support unit to wait for a suitable heart for him.

“He worked for someone else, and he killed a fellow member you don’t remember probably due to trauma, Kiseop. You said you would get revenge for Kiseop by taking his life, telling us to leave him in your hands. It’s…complicated.” Alexander sighed, cuddling Dongho who started crying at the memory. “He’s not a bad man though. He was trying to keep your mother safe. Eli found his diary in the locked drawer he never allowed even you to touch.”

“What’s…his name?”

“Kevin.”

“Kevin…” Kibum called, instinctively bringing Kevin’s hand up to his heart. “I don’t know you, but apparently this heart does. It’s frantically beating for you.”

“He said-” Dongho coughed out, eyes red from crying. “He said if we ever let you see him, please tell him you love him, even if you don’t mean it. Your last words to him were that you shouldn’t have loved him. He-He-”

Alexander hugged Dongho tightly, silencing him from speaking any more. “It’s okay, Dongho. Kibum gets it, it’s okay.”

“I don’t know why I’m so sure about it. Probably our connection before I lost my memory.” Kibum spoke, eyes fixed on Kevin’s pale face. He leaned down, lightly kissing Kevin’s lips. “I don’t care who you are, where you’re from, what you did, why you killed, as long as you love me, because I love you too.”
