Alexander and Eli took a seat while waiting.

Kevin and Kibum took a seat while waiting.

The two couples were sitting back to back, both waiting for the same train in the busy subway with busy people buzzing about, all unable to recognise the four celebrities.

Alexander rested (despite being taller) on Eli’s shoulder, while Eli sat up a little straighter than usual to support Alexander’s head. The older member hummed mindlessly, smiling as Eli stroked his hair gently.

“Wished it could be this way forever.” Alexander whispered with a smile, fingers fiddling with Eli’s other hand.

“Waiting for a train.” Kevin giggled, hearing Alexander and mocking his words.

Kibum pressed his lips softly against the top of Kevin’s head, chuckling. “I rather we be in our bed.”

“Pervert!” Kevin squeaked, snuggling up against Kibum despite his words.

Alexander rolled his eyes and squeezed Eli’s hand gently, returning to his blissful feeling. “It feels like I can count on you to do anything, you see how much you mean to me?”

Eli nodded, smiling. “And I’m sure I’d do anything but let you go.”

Kevin giggled some more, while Kibum pulled Kevin closer, enjoying the closeness. “Even if you’re going to the toilet or have sweaty palms, I wouldn’t let go.”

“I’d just tie you to the bed.” Kibum chuckled when Kevin hit him lightly on his chest, blushing furiously.

Alexander gritted his teeth, a hand flying to attack Kevin who was directly behind him. He managed to hit Kevin’s head, which made the youngest of the four whimper.

“Ouch! Kibummie-hyung, I got bullied.” Kevin whined, pouting cutely to emphasize his point.

Kibum threw his arm backwards to hit Eli’s head, causing the younger to curse instinctively.

“Hey!” Alexander growled, standing up to face Kibum and Kevin.

“What?” Kibum stood up, eyes intensely glaring at Alexander as if daring him to talk back.

Alexander quickly hid behind his boyfriend, cowering.

Eli tried not to appear scared.

“Oh! The train is here~!” Kevin grinned, easing the tension almost immediately.

Kibum grabbed Kevin, who grabbed Alexander, who obviously held onto Eli. Since it was one of the peak hours, they were pressed against each other, strategically turning so each couple were facing only each other.

Kibum smirked, stroking Kevin’s back gently, causing the younger to squirm.

“W-we’re in public.” Kevin whispered, embarrassed.

“So?” Kibum breathed down Kevin’s neck, smiling. “You smell tasty.”

“Ew.” Alexander mumbled, getting revenge of some sort. “I love you so much I’d do you in public.”

Kevin blushed in embarrassment, shying away from Kibum’s glances.

“Xander-hyung, I hate you.” Kibum muttered, not wanting to let anyone else hear their names.

“The feeling is mutual.” Alexander replied spitefully, only calming down when Eli caressed his face to wipe the anger away.

“You look prettier this way.” Eli whispered, a tingly feeling sending shivers down Alexander’s spine.

Kevin shook his head with a small smile, kissing Kibum quickly to prevent them from having any more couple versus couple fights.

-

The four stumbled out of the train and got left behind as the crowd rushed to the exit, probably continuing their fast-paced modern life.

It would have been the same for Alexander, Kibum, Eli and Kevin if they didn’t have their break today.

“Let’s get back on good terms!” Kevin nudged Kibum, persuading his boyfriend because he was the easiest target. “Pretty please~? We left the house happily together!”

“Not with you mocking us.” Alexander angrily looked away, arms folded.

“Aw, I’m sorry~!” Kevin apologised cutely. “You know I do that a lot~!”

“Yeah, we’ll get back on good terms anyway.” Eli agreed.

Kibum and Alexander eyed the younger two suspiciously, the two walking in front towards the subway exit while discussing about the two behind - whether or not they have something going on behind their backs.

Eli and Kevin sighed, rolling their eyes.

“Your boyfriend is impossible! Kibummie-hyung never doubts me.” Kevin pouted. “Bad influence! Bad, bad Xander-hyung!”

“…” Eli groaned, mumbling something like “why do I have to deal with kids?”

-

“Kibummie-hyung! I’m getting angry!” Kevin sulked sadly, putting on his best pout. “Are you going to leave me alone?”

Kibum turned around and decided Kevin was a better companion. “Sorry, bro. Go get your own boyfriend.”

“I was about to do that, thank you very much.” Alexander replied sharply, not wanting to look like he needed Kibum’s company (because he really needn’t…unless it’s the company that earns money).

Kevin instantly jumped up on Kibum’s back, giggling. “You know what I ate this morning?”

“Fried egg and ham.” Kibum shrugged. “I ate that too.”

“Nope.” Kevin giggled some more. “I took some candies and drank the soda in the fridge!”

“…”

“We have to stock up on candy, Eli.” Alexander sighed dramatically. “There’s been a thief, my precious candies are all gone.”

“Shh.” Kevin kissed Kibum’s cheek from the back and giggled. “Don’t tell him.”

Eli raised an eyebrow at Kevin’s soft laughs, dismissing it away as Kevin being Kevin. “But I’m hungry.”

“Okay, let’s go eat…uh…” Alexander stuck out his lips as he sank into deep thoughts, looking around the area as he tightly held on to Eli’s hand. “Subway!”

“Hehe!” Kevin giggled. “We just came from the subway, going to subway!”

“He’s being unusually happy today.” Alexander whispered to Eli. “Is he going to be okay?”

Eli nodded. “I think there’s something wrong with him, but he always has something wrong with him.”

“…” Kibum glared at the couple. “Mind your words.”

Alexander and Eli instantly saluted Kibum. “Yes, sir.”

Kevin giggled harder, pinching Eli and Alexander’s cheeks from his height and cooing about how cute they were. The two only looked weirdly back at Kevin, unable to say a word with Kevin sitting on top of a Kibum that has scary mood swings.

-

They really ended up in subway, queuing in a non-existent queue for sandwiches.

“We should get couple meals!” Kevin suggested excitedly. “Get a foot long one and we’ll share, Kibummie-hyung!”

“Sure.” Kibum smiled faintly. “What do you want?”

“I want to eat whatever you eat.” Kevin covered his mouth as he giggled. “Just don’t add too much vegetables! I only want lettuce!”

“Mm.” Kibum agreed, stating his order with an arm comfortably around Kevin.

Alexander and Eli aren’t as harmonious.

“Shall we get one foot long one like them?” Alexander’s eyes sparkled. “Let’s get steak and cheese!”

“But I want roast beef…” Eli bit his lower lip. “Can we just eat separately?”

“We’re a couple!” Alexander insisted, before realising he was too loud. He covered his mouth and looked around, making sure no one recognised him before hitting Eli’s shoulder. “Are you with me in this or not?”

“I want roast beef…” Eli said innocently.

“Fine!” Alexander pouted, quickly stating his order while Eli was being served by another worker.

-

“It’s so good!” Kevin took a bite from the sandwich Kibum was taking since they had the same thing, and Kibum insisted on feeding Kevin. “Yay, I’m eating good food~!”

Alexander and Eli sat opposite Kevin and Kibum, but these two were comparably further from each other.

Alexander angrily ate his sandwich, sick of the couple before him acting all lovey-dovey when he just had a “quarrel” with Eli.

Eli sighed in defeat.

“Did you both just fight?” Kibum finally asked, looking curiously at Alexander. “Is it another one of your PMS?”

“I do NOT have premenstrual syndrome!” Alexander growled.

“He does not!” Eli agreed almost immediately.

Kevin noticed Alexander small smile he tried to fight away, causing him to laugh at how Alexander was so horrible at acting angry.

“Alexander-hyung is a horrible, horrible man! That’s why Eli can’t stand him!” Kevin smiled widely, almost innocently, if not for his words.

Kibum gave Kevin a small frown, but a warm hand rubbing his thighs told him Kevin knew what he was doing. The older member then just fed Kevin with another bite.

“Not true!” Eli quickly shook his head.

“Is that true?!” Alexander asked, eyes hurt. “Am I that horrible?”

“No!” Eli instantly grabbed Alexander’s shoulder and kissed him, enough time for Alexander to feel it but also quick enough to shun public’s eye.

Kevin giggled. “I want to eat some more~! I just saw a really riped tomato, I should have added that into my sandwich~!”

Alexander blushed furiously, kicking Kevin’s legs under the table.

“Ouch!” Kevin whimpered, but Alexander and Eli were too busy to care about him. Kibum raised both Kevin’s legs to put on his lap as he massaged the younger’s legs. “Kibummie-hyung! I love you!”

“Tch.” Kibum chuckled, ruffling Kevin’s hair. “Only acting cute when you get benefits.”

“But you love me too~!” Kevin sang happily, ignoring Alexander and Eli, both who were suddenly inching closer towards each other.

“Forgive me?” Eli grinned widely, waving his sandwich before Alexander’s mouth. “Try it!”

Alexander took an experimental bite, immediately liking what he tasted. “Okay, fine. You can try mine too~!”

“Ewww.” Kevin and Kibum chorused, both laughing after their unplanned harmony.

The other two rolled their eyes.

“As if you two don’t do that.” Alexander threw a piece of bread at Kevin. “Eat up! Fish~!”

Kevin ignored it and licked Kibum’s lips openly, giggling. “You have some crumbs on your lips, Kibummie-hyung~!”

“Ewww.” Eli and Alexander both said, the whole table erupting into laughter as they continued the cheesy meal with cheesy actions.

-

“Long day?” Dongho chuckled as he asked, despite his eyes being glued to the TV screen where he was playing Wii against Kiseop.

“You have no idea.” Alexander and Eli sighed. “Don’t talk to them, they’re at cold war right now.”

“…” Dongho nodded. “I did not just ask you a question, I’ve been concentrating on my game against Kiseop.”

“I hate you, hate you, hate you!” Kevin sobbed. “Why wouldn’t you let me buy red wine!”

Kibum groaned.
